One of the best lunch spots in the Huntington area. Great home cooked food. During this visit I had the vegetable soup, cornbread and a grilled cheese sandwich. All were fresh and so tasty. No better cornbread around. Service is always fast and efficient. One of my favorite places. Family run business, great home made food, friendly staff. They're only open for a handful of hours a day, and despite that, this place gets packed. That's really all you need to know. This place has great food and you'll definitely find something to eat that suits you, and won't regret stopping by! Wonderful down home, country cookin'. Can't beat the service; staff is superb and nice. The owner comes around to meet and greet; very genuine. Gotta love the old town memorabilia. We are not from the area but wanted to eat local! Can't get more local than Central City Cafe! Great home cooking! I had the open face roast beef, with mashed potatoes! Yum, Yum! We had 6 in our group, and everyone loved the food! Would go again if ever in town! We arrived at the Central City Cafe right before they were shutting down for 10 days for vacation, and because of that, they had not re-ordered some of their food. We really wanted to try the meat loaf, but we were sorry to hear they had run out. However, the cheeseburgers we had instead were REALLY good, loaded with cheese, and huge! The menu had a lot of great comfort foods, and we look forward to a return trip someday when they're fully stocked. Service was excellent, and no fewer than 3 people came to our table to be sure we were happy. This is a small casual place with great food and great people. Highly recommended!

Quickly seated. Quick service. Quick check out. Great atmosphere. The food was good. The deli meat in my club was absolutely top shelf. Plate was arranged very nice. Complimentary water with orange slices was most excellent. I will be back

Such a wonderful place for a meal! BLT was stacked high, grilled cheese had multiple cheeses. Fruit cups were fresh with a delightful side dip. Fresh iced tea--unsweet--came with fresh orange slices.

This is the place. The food is great. If your looking for a good down to earth place for a bite to eat this is the place. It is also on the same street as the antique shops so it's a great place to park and spend the day.
