Catrina’s used to be very good never had any issues before, but I recently went there since it had been awhile since I’ve had it. I was craving some good Authentic food. Was very disappointed to say the least just a big mushy mess couldn’t even force myself to eat it. Dogs didn’t even want it. I don’t know what happened to this place but it’s really gone down hill. The chicken was terrible used to be grilled cubes of chicken now it looks like something out of can tastes horrible honestly. Queso didn’t taste right either only thing that was okay was the chips Don’t waste your time or money you will be sorry unless you like sloppy mush bowels. maybe I got them at a bad time but after this experience I’ll definitely never come back! Sorry but not sorry food was trash literally! Service Take out Meal type Dinner Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
Saw so many positive reviews stating this was celiac-safe, good for those with gluten issues, and delicious---but when we went, the very first thing was saw was someone patting down flour tortillas on the line preparing someone else's food, and they went straight in with the same gloved hands into the cheese and other ingredients, contaminating everything (tho it was surely already well-compromised before we saw it). We had no choice but to drop out of line waiting to order and find another place to eat. A real shame--we were so ready to have something delicious and safely gluten-free after an hours-long drive in all the bad winter weather with this place in mind for dinner. :(
This location is definitely not as good as the one in Saint Anthony that recently Closed. Food and service isn't nearly as good. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant! It's got great atmosphere, great food, and the staff are extremely friendly. The chicken tinga is chef's kiss. The tamales are everything I dream about. The selection of salsas is phenomenal. The atmosphere is fun! If you're looking for an authentic place that serves better quick food quickly at a reasonable price, this is the place for you! Nothing fancy. Gluten free options. Wife is gluten sensitive and had no issues. Order at the counter. They make in front of you. Similar to the Chipotle model, but so much better! Two of us had the nachos, 3 tacos, and a burrito. Everything was excellent. Had chicken tinga and beef tinga as the proteins, both were really good. The fresh guac was really nice. We left stuffed. Will pick this over any chain Mexican food. Will certainly be back. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes 3 Tacos
The chicken had no flavor and the Queso didn’t taste right. Ended up throwing it all away once we got back to the hotel. Super bummed!! The employees were very nice and friendly, only complaint was the food and the bathroom. The bathroom was nasty - see picture! I didn't know what to expect, and I was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed the atmosphere it was a warm inviting feeling everyone was smiling. My favorite things were the sauces. They have a pineapple habanero sauce that is just delicious. this is probably going to be one of my new favorite places to eat, Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Meats and Sauces
It is a good and fresh casual food. I tried steak tacos and steak bowl. Both was fully staffed. So the portions are good and filled with a lot of steak. Tables and chairs are a bit old and the atmosphere is not appealing. But the food is fresh, except rise. They kept the rise open, not covered and some parts of rice was dry. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20
My initial impression was not high. I think after a few visits it might improve. I think the most difficult part was my Spanish is weak, and the English by the counter staff even weaker. I didn't really get what I wanted. They do have a nice menu though, and a decent dining area. I had a burrito that ended up with too much rice and no salsa. The horchata was tasty. I will try this location again. For now I give an absolutely average 3. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Beautiful decor and fresh food. I enjoyed my burrito bowl and the chips were very good. I would have preferred a bit more flavor from the pico de gallo but I can't really complain.
