All meh… our oyster shooters and calamari came after our entres. The fish was soggy for the fish and chips. The blacken rockfish salad was very good though. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes House Salad

Stopped for the night in Brookings and the hotel clerk tipped us off to this gem! Delicious food: I had chowder in a bread bowl with shrimp and clam strips, hubs had the surf and turf with grilled scallops—everything was so good! Great service, cute patio, and a really nice vibe here. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Recommended dishes Clam Strips
Very disapointed. Grabbed some clam chowder to go for my son. Paid $8. This is what he received. The lady who took our order wasnt friendly, they had 1 table filled at the time. Just super disappointed i was looking forward to trying some of their sandwichs but i wont be going back unfortunately. My aunt recommended this place. We really enjoyed ourselves. The drinks were strong, and the food was delicious. We started with High Tide Mai Tais. We ordered the flashed fried calamari and shrimp cocktail for our appetizer. I ordered the surf and turf that came with a top sirloin and prawns. It came with loaded mashed potatoes and grilled vegs. The steak was grilled prefectly. Hubby ordered the fish and chips with extra prawns. We were a little disappointed with the shrimp in that we got popcorn shrimp in our shrimp cocktail, and the shrimp they referred to as prawns were just regular size shrimp.

This was the best food on our whole trip up the coast. The fried oysters and the clam chowder was amazing. I have been craving it ever since we went. The staff was very friendly and it was a very cute and packed place. I will be back some day, Thank you!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Overpriced and bland! We got top sirloin that wasn't seasoned and tasted microwaved and three shrimp for $25. Their fish tacos tasted like tortilla and cabbage, barely any fish. We didn't get the side salads. A cup of coffee was 3 dollars. The potion size was extremely small. You can't taste the clams in the chowder. Just all around disappointing! Service was average. Most of the food was pretty bland. Decent portion of popcorn shrimp app, but it was very basic, not much flavor to the breading. The shrimp cocktail was…different. The cocktail sauce is good. The stew didn’t have a lot of flavor. The crab taquitos were really good, most of it was in the sauce I think. The crab cakes were disappointing. Stopped here on a Thursday night on a whim. We ordered Deep Fried Calamari (HUGE PORTION for two), Grilled Shrimp with a cup of Clam Chowder and the Rockfish Tacos special. Add the mango salsa too. Nothing was greasy. Everything was fresh and light. The CHOWDER was the best I have ever had. 10/10. The staff was great! Savannah was our waitress. We will return! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30
Cool seafood restaurant in the harbor. We had a late dinner and enjoyed our meal. We ordered the fish and chips, chowder, and shrimp po’boy. The oyster shooters were good with decent price. The chowder was definitely loaded and had good flavor. The shrimp po’boy was huge and delicious. The sauce was flavorful! The fish and chips tasted great just a tad too greasy. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

This restaurant is the hidden gem of Brookings. The atmosphere was lively, has a hometown look and freshness. You might miss, because it's not on the main road. If you are looking for the best clam chowder, creamy deliciousness this is the place. The (cod or rock fish) fish and chips not greasy, crispy hot and flavorful with the chowder on the side is a hit. The calamari was a mouthful of wonderful. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20
