I always look for the quality of the products, mastery of flavors and cooking techniques, value for money, setting, service and consistency between visits. The most difficult part is to decide impartially, fairly and honestly review which is very difficult as we all have different taste buds, styles and expectations; Therefore my reviews are based on my “Papilles” and experience. Cassandra's is nested at the bottom of mountains, surrounded by ponds and streams. They have some excellent tasty meat dishes and wine. Polite staff, the service was on par and attentive.

Food was fantastic, lovely pizza at very reasonable price. Service could do with a bit of work and lack of working coffee machine might leave some unhappy.
Great food, really enjoyed the meals from starters to full meal and friendly stuff but have few selected alcohol beverages Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person R 350–400
The food was lovely and our waitress was a sweet girl however the restaurant was left in a mess before we arrived , brooms and feather dusters were left lying around and the tablecloths were dirty , there was cutlery left on the tables and it was untidy . Could use a deep clean and a bit more maintenance. It’s situated in a beautiful spot and just needs a bit of help

Pricey menu but food is good. Quiet, beautiful setting, well-kept buildings and grounds with a small lake. Best pizza in town made to order by the affable chef. Hope a few beer and wine options are added.
The setting is very beautiful and connected to nature. I like sitting by the window to watch the fish while I wait or eat my meal. Meals are great especially the oxtail with vegetables. Menu is not that vast and breakfast will bore you or put you off if you stay more than 2 days because it's always the same. There's an assumption that we all have our meals medium rare because the waiters have never asked me how I would like it prepared. Otherwise their oven baked pizza's is their specialty. Nice place.
Great food. But I think waiting time of 35 minutes for dinner is a bit stretchy if guests would have spend a day working. Would suggest if you could ask guests if they know what they want for dinner, if they know and their dinner time so you reduce waiting time to at most 15 minutes. Otherwise food quality and portions are great.
Great view with lovely fire place. Staff friendly and food tasty.
No ways! If you can keep on driving! Service dead-slow and non-existent. Waited 20 min after the waiter seated me, saw her walking by with 1 milkshake for another table and called it a day. Many very restricted just as a FYI
Friendly staff, good place to relax and enjoy your meal but the veggies were too little and you should atleast marinade the meat so that it's not so dry. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch
