It was mediocre ... interesting decor. Not a lot of flavor, that was unexpected. The shell still on the shrimp was unexpected. A lot of butter/oil & food was only very warm, not hot. Service was straight forward. ( we 2 WERE the only ones there) 5pm on a mon. Chips were thin, perfect. Cammorones Majo de Ajo. TV was ridiculously LOUD. Destroyed the enjoyable atmosphere. Love this restaurant. I've been coming here off and on for years. Never let me down on their service and quality of their food. This day we went, they were short staffed, and the owners were killing it, making up for lack of servers. 💯 The environment is nice, has a well stocked bar, my wife liked the margarita, bathrooms were clean, and it has a hunter theme for all you hunters. Also, a warning to the tree hugger animal rights activated, the food is good so don't look around the room so everyone else can enjoy their meals. Good food. Lunch specials are a hit. Their chili verde is bomb. We ride here from Lucerne Valley all the time. If you're squeamish about taxidermy this is not your place. They got stuffed animals throughout the restaurant. It doesn't bother me but it might bother other people.
