My mom is very picky about her Spanish food. It was with trepidation I brought her to your restaurant and it was with great relish and a pat on my back to watch her lick her plate clean. Ever since the first visit (when you first opened) Casa is her to go restaurant. She can't get around so good anymore but she calls for to go and has NEVER been disappointed. Get a reservation or there will be a wait. The bathroom is beautiful but it was out of toilet paper. The bread is good, it comes toasted with garlic butter. The drinks are well-balanced. The fish soup is hearty and rich yet light. The calamari is crisp and tender (its sauce is spicy). The shrimp tostones could use a bit of salt but it is otherwise perfectly cooked. The fried shrimp appetizer depends on the tartar sauce for flavor. The shrimp mofongo in the creole sauce is utterly delightful. My only critique is I would give it a bit of piquancy. If you get appetizers and an entree you're going to need a to-go box. The server missed one of our entrees. All-in-all it was a good experience but the devil is in the details. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The service was first class, the presentation was excellent and the food was delicious. Ray our server was very courteous and a gentleman. The ambiance was nice and the nice cultural music in the back ground was a plus. Great for a couple or to take the whole family.I will definitely be going back. Just look at that lobster tail...been there again today. The service just keeps getting better and better. The food is as excellent. They will not disappoint you.
