Have been a loyal customer for 32 years before the restaurant moved to the Grossmont mall, previously located in old town. They remain with their core staff, who are amazing at what they do. The quality, authenticity, and taste of their food remain excellent throughout the years. The only negative would be the noise level. It is very loud inside the main restaurant area since it's an all open concept. It is a little quieter in the bar area compared to the restaurant side, since it's a smaller area. Noise level is perfect outside if you can sit outside, weather permitting. Wow what a fun place to have authentic Mexican cuisine. The staff dressed in Mexican style dresses and very friendly. The food is wonderful and the strawberry margaritas are the bomb. Sara is an awesome server and one of the most patient and kind ladies I've ever met in a restaurant. Everyone here though is fantastic from the gentlemen who bring chips and salsa, the waitstaff who no matter who you get is courteous, kind, attentive and quick. The chefs are always making great food and the people who greet you are always smiling and calm no matter how busy they are. It's one of our favorite restaurants and the tortillas are amazing no matter what they are paired with. I can't recommend it enough if you have a craving for really great food and service at a reasonable price. Phenomenal Mexican fair. Some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. The place is decked for the holidays, everyone is really friendly and the portions are huge. You definitely get your bang for your buck. Our server, Luz Elena, was excellent! I’ll be sure to return!
