I have had pizza and sandwiches from here-- all very good-- but last night I was craving pasta. I'm very picky about pasta sauce, however. I do not like sauce that is overly chunky, sweet, or that has a lot of oregano. I'm happy to report this will be my new go-to spot for pasta. If you have texture issues and avoid chunky sauces like me, you will like their sauce. My eggplant parm was easily enough to feed 2-3 hungry adults. I have enough leftover for 2 more meals. It also includes a generously sized side salad and bread. The American antipasta salad is a lot bigger than it looks in my photo and was also very good. I like that the salads were not iceberg lettuce, which has no nutritional value. For the amount of food you get, the prices were quite reasonable. We don't eat here often but when we do the food is delicious the atmosphere is great the staff are awesome. The wife had their chicken parm platter and I had their Salmon over capellini with a blush sauce Both meal were delicious. generously large portions that we had left overs to take home. This is nowhere near a 4.3 on a five star scale establishment. The quality of pizza is SPECTABULOUS!! Plus the service is first rate. I learned about this place from a co-worker who ordered pizza for everyone on our team before he left for surgery. The pizza punched me in my mother-father mouth!!! I had to visit this place myself the following month . . . very busy place and you can see they make good money there by the looks of the restaurant. I say 5.0 and I lived in the New York Metro for over six years between college and law school. The worst pepper & egg sandwich ever. Apparently, Carolla's does not know how to make one. Burnt egg, dry, with little bits of pepper. Will go to an Italian restaurant in nearby Hammonton next time. I frequent here the food is always very good the service good clean nice atmosphere. Last night was my first bad experience I was in around 615 with a friend it was busy my friend ordered the steak I ordered veal. His meal was brought to the table about 12 minutes before mine when mine arrived I attempted to cut the veal that should have almost fallen apart it was like shoe leather the linguini was under cooked. I said something to the server and it was almost like she was calling me a liar. I said you eat it then or have the kitchen eat it or if it's that much of a problem box it and I'll feed it to my dog because I won't eat it. I have been a chef and in the restaurant business for years so please do not respond back with I do not know what I'm talking about. In the end the meal was removed from our bill but I was very disappointed at the service who serves one guest the meal 12 minutes before the other guests meal comes to the table? I'll still say this it's a first here and I'll return because it has never been like this before and I hope ownership will take a moment to review and correct whatever happened because you run a great business and I'd like to continue being a loyal customer. I started a new job next door 1 month ago and I've eaten there for a total of 20 days straight. The food was ok a little over priced however there's a waitress that offers terrible service. She's an older lady and has the worse attitude like you're a bother to her. My last day there I arrived early and the place was empty. I always like to watch a movie on my cellphone while I eat. After awhile people started coming in mind you I had already started my movie and my meal. She had the nerve to ask me to lower my volume which happened to be from a cellphone which you can barely hear especially over the atmosphere noise. She was very rude and annoying. I will never return there again. I gave them my business faithfully for a solid month and was treated like I was sub-par as a person and that's putting it lightly. Never again will I return and I will be speaking to the owner. I chose to return and try another meal. I got a bowl of soup however I was only allowed one pack of crackers. When I asked for more I was refused. I even offered to pay for them. I mean we're talking about crackers. I was very disappointed and honestly this is starting to feel personal. I don't usually complain however I really don't feel valued as a customer considering the amount of money that I spend there. Food was just awful. Chicken franchise was bland and greasy. I ordered a cheesesteak it had no cheese, and it was bland. I ordered a panzerotti was ice cold in the middle, and it was absolutely disgusting. Garlic knots were hard. Salad was missing, told me it’ll be another 45 minutes to get it out to me, mind you they were already late getting the food to me. The boss is super nasty, and cheap, they forgot my salad dressing after the salad and it’s now 9:30 at night when we ordered at 7. I ended up going to get my own dressing from the store because they said they will get someone to send dressing but it’ll be another 25 minutes!! They said they can only do $4 for the dressing as a credit!!! Wth? I had to waste my gas and my money so I can eat at a decent time, and get what I ordered!!! Seriously worst customer service! Foods ok, but if you have a problem you’re the liar!!! I’m sure they will make up some lie to make them look good. Owner is not for their customers!!!!! Nasty nasty man.
