Wonderful breakfast with great service! Don't let the exterior gas station motif stop you from fueling up on breakfast! We arrived early on a weekday and were a tad taken back that there was only one other seated guest. However, the place nearly immediately filled up inside and outside. One of the local favorites. Fuel, food, small bar, and a little convenience store all in 1 stop. I have enjoyed every meal i have tried on the breakfast, luch, and dinner menus. A true jem. If you're passing through the city of Carlton, please make this a stop. The food was amazing, and the staff made the experience great. Very small restaurant attached to a gas station, and convince store. I have been to a lot of places throughout Oregon this is a secret little place in farmland Oregon. Best breakfast in within the valley. Food is prepared with care, and clearly by a foodie chef. We went back for lunch and it was equally as good! Sorry I didn’t discover this place this sooner. We really like coming here. There is outside seating options including under cover and also picnic tables with umbrellas. At times, the service can be off, but that's usually the exception. There is not a lot of parking, however, and it can get a bit crammed with the gas station being right there. It's not the biggest of places, so if it's busy, you may not get a seat, as is typical with anywhere. It's pretty small inside, so be aware. They do have two large corner tables for a larger group. My husband likes the mug club and the wide selection of beer on tap. The food is very good and has a great selection. I wish they would add another place in McMinnville! The Best Beef Dip in Town!. Horseradish was perfect. Fries crispy with a Chipotle Sauce. A variety of beers. Perfect! Yes, It was a gas station. It's on a busy corner, you can see people hauling wine Grapes & Beer Hops! Lots of fancy restaurants in town, but this is a local place with amazing food & people. **updated** I go into this place often for growler fills now that I have been in town a while. I honestly do love this place it's got a great atmosphere wonderful beer selection and an overall good menu. I have an egg allergy so I don't eat here very often but my children love their burgers. A year so ago I wrote a negative review here because I have an egg allergy and they couldnt promise my food would be egg free. They don't necessarily cater to my egg allergy but they're very friendly and have a lot of other things that I enjoy so I want to update my review to match my experience. **original review** I went to this place expecting a great burger in a fun little town. Sadly, they couldnt even tell me what ingredients were in there food. I have a food allergy and not knowing the contents of your food is unacceptable. When I asked that they cook my food in a separate pan, they told me that they would use the same spatula and so forth so no matter what I'd get cross contamination. The waitress was flippant and apathetic to my allergies and treated us pretty much like trash. Overall the menu was pretty lame, the customer service was non existent and I felt as if I was a burden rather than a valued customer. I would avoid eating here!

Great breakfast and great value. Don’t be put off by the fact that it is attached to a gas station the food is very good and nice to sit outside in the summer. View got the skillet and my wife got the biscuits and gravy.

Without doubt the least pretentious, most economical and incredibly delicious place to eat in Carlton. Referred to locally simply as "the gas station" it literally is a diner attached to the gas station on the main corner in Carlton. The menu includes old school comfort food such as Chicken Fried Steak, and they have daily specials such as Meatloaf on Mondays. For drinks they have local beers, cider and various red and white wines by glass. Check it out!
