In general I like this market though it’s a overpriced. I went for the first time after several years. I was given a paper bag (not asked if I wanted one) and charged ten cents for it although I literally brought my own reusable bag. It was in my hand. It’s giant, hard to miss. I saw the charge later. Didn’t know they charged for the paper bags beforehand. Not cool….
Wow first appearance outside didn’t look like much until you walk in. It was packed. I love how in the front of the store it was kind of similar to a grocery store. Then there were separate parts of the store like a coffee shop, wine area, etc. I really like the store but it was a bit overwhelming but the staff were all super nice and asked if I needed assistance. Food was pretty good too. Had the pasta before from Carlino’s Catering but first time in the store. I would bring people from out of state or out of town here. Definitely a place to hang out in. They have a nice seating area located in the front of the store.
Carlino’s Market is a great little Italian shop. Today, among other things, we bought some prosciutto. The guy cutting the prosciutto for us achieved perfection. Best job ever! Thanks
