[[Sat.10.June.2023 @3pm]] Wife & I stopped at this location for a late lunch, just got done dropping off our Lil Grandson to his Mother, we all went out for our usual Hike, this time it was at rear of WVUP walking trail. Wife & I came into Captain D’s, place was Clean, Staff was very Kind, Nice & Welcomed us with a Smile, We did our Order to eat in, went Great, Staff stated they would bring our Order out to our table, which they did. The food we ordered was Good Tasting, Fixed Perfect and was just the wright portion as well with the correct seasoning for my taste. Just at $10 a person, not bad at all. Very good experience at this location was greeted with a friendly smile. My order was taken promptly. Food came out nice and hot and was exactly what I had ordered. The condiment area was nice and clean and well stocked. It’s been a while since I’ve gone to a Captain D’s but this experience was superb!! Will definitely be back!!! I ordered 2 of the 2 piece fish & fries off the menu for $5.99. I was charged $6.79. When I questioned it they said the sale is over & today they are $6.79!! I told them that was the price on the menu!! Not happy at all! I will drive a few feet to Mary B's the next time! They charge menu prices! I went through the drive thru around 10:45 this morning, fries were ice cold (close to opening, so no excuse for this), and the sandwich i got was advertised to have lettuce on it, which it didn’t. When I called back and told them, they told me they didn’t have lettuce at the moment (we were not informed of this before purchasing) and i asked if I’d be able to get a replacement sandwich when they did have lettuce again and she hung up on me. I figured the call just got dropped, so I called back and she hung up on me again immediately after answering. Her name was Brittany I believe. I am normally not one to complain, but there were also several hairs in my tender meal (didn’t even try to mention this on the phone because I really don’t care all that much), but now it is an issue. I was wondering why captain Ds was starting to fall off the grid, but now it’s definitely understandable why it is. Service Take out Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Is it possible to get even worse? I returned today to try again. Ordered country style. Got regular. Switched it to something uncheweble and spotted with batter. I could not chew it. It was so hard! Took that back. Cook said not their regular country style. Wasn't sure what it was. So they gave me regular fish. It was chicken. I went home hungry and $11 poorer. I learned from last time not to order Mac n cheese. Won't be back. The fish was ok but we ordered country style. My Mac n Cheese was cold and runny Not edible. Fries good and baked potato ok
