On 1/7/2024 I placed an online order at the CatainD’s in Hattiesburg, MS. I selected that I would pick it up at 1:00pm. When I got there at 1:00 pm the woman at the window told me someone else had already picked up my order. I told her that it was not me. Another woman came to the window and told me that someone else had picked up my order and she could not remake it. She shut the window in my face and walked off. My mother was in the vehicle with me. We were on vacation in Mississippi, we saw several Captain d restaurants. I looked up their menu and saw that they had several grilled fish options on the menu. For health issues I prefer to eat grilled food. We went to the Captain D's in Hattiesburg Miss. when we went in and went to make our order they only had one piece of grilled fish available I ordered that with as the grilled white fish meal. My wife ordered fish and I had the the one piece of grilled white fish. It wasn't bad but my wife's meal was not good. I had hoped to go to another Captain D's in the future when I saw the grilled items on their menu.But now I am very disappointed .this was Oct 18-23 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Was pretty sure the place wasn't open, looked empty and disused. Fish has gotten decidedly smaller, had 2 chicken strips - 1 was about 3.5-4" and the other might have been 1.5" Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Restaurant was clean and inviting. Staff was attentive and friendly. Food was delicious with one exception... the gumbo was very disappointing. While it did not have a bad flavor, it didn't taste like gumbo...it tasted like tomato bisque with a couple of shrimp. The portions for the cost was also pretty good in today's economy. Nice job Captain D's.

The quality of the food was very very poor...the fish tasted fishy The Cole slaw was very bad like it was spoiled. There were no healthy options on the menu at all no salads or anything like that I will.never eat here again!!! Someone with corporate needs to do an inspection on this location. The staff was very friendly and the food was great. The limitations on the side options are not financially friendly. It's like the limited the choices buy increasing the cost of the more popular sides in order to promote the less chosen sides. Just threw off my entire taste experience. Amazing service, especially Shannon!! She was friendly and I overheard her tell a disabled lady to go on have a seat and she would come get her order so she didn't have to stand!! Just horrible. I was so excited to order clams and when I got them. I separated the big ones and the crumbs. Was just depressing
