First time here and it was great! We were the only ones in when they opened and they even changed the TV to where we were sitting to the movie that was playing so my kids could see it, so sweet. Our server Erik was great, very attentive and gave recommendations on the seasoning! We ordered the Commander Platter and wow so much food, enough for four to share with leftovers. Highly recommend Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was a FEAST..the food was great, the service was awesome, the atmosphere was average but hey...your there to eat Seafood, not negotiate or solve world problems. Order, Eat, Enjoy..it does not get any simpler than that. Remember to go earlier than you want to eat to ensure you find parking, there is a new chicken place two foors down and the traffic is horrible. We came nothing but for good food and we got more then that, the great experience of a great service. We had the best server Kevin. He told us the best deals, menu favorites as well as the overall service he provided for us. We keep coming back! That should say a lot! This is my favorite seafood boil spot in the Cities! Not only was the seafood huge and fresh our server, Kevin E, was the nicest human being I think I’ve ever met. He deserves all of the praise for making my first time here so special! The sauce is to die for, also. You just gained a new regular customer! My husband and I had dinner here today. We ordered the crab and shrimp platter. It was a lot of food. The seasoning was with Boom Boom spice and medium (hot) heatness. Our crab and shrimp platter also came with potatoes and corn. Everything was delicious! Our server was also really great. He didn’t introduce himself to us but the name on the receipt said Randy. He was attentive to us while we ate and made sure that we had everything we needed. I like how he offered us lemons for the seafood and extra moist towelettes. He also filled our glasses before they got empty. The decorations, music, and the atmosphere were also great! I would love to come here again. This was my second time visiting Captain Crab and I am just as amazed by it as the first. I’ve tried other seafood boil places around and none of them are comparable to the flavor and bang for my buck as captain crab. AND no other seafood boil place has Kevin! Kevin was a delight to have as a server and kept not only our conversations full but our glasses too. I’m serious, if you walk in and have the opportunity to ask for Kevin to be your server, do it. (Top notch customer care.) I will definitely be back for the boil, but also for my man Big Kev. got four rotten crabs, and the rest of the platter tasted off, the crab clusters barely had any meat. all in all cost me 240$ because they take 20% REQUIRED TIP! that equated to $40 if you have 5ppl, for us it was 4 adults and our baby that they considered adult if we wanted to eat there! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT! Customer service sucks and I’ve been here a few times and food has declined more and more every time. THIS TIME WILL BE MY LAST! I asked for EXTRA garlic and they want to argue that there is. Look at my picture and tell me it’s extra garlic or even any garlic? Nothing but oil. Is it even butter?
