Very busy place make sure you get reservations. That being said the service is amazing. The food comes out quick and the waitresses are on it. The food is outstanding. Definitely will be back soon... This place is phenomenal. the food was most likely the best Italian food I've ever had in my life. the portions are huge and tasteful. only issue I had was the Credit card transaction fee of $10.00 which i thought was odd. Been going to Capri many years. The food is never disappointing. This time I had the lamb chops. Delicious except it came with peas and onions, both of which I like. Didn't enjoy them covering the chops. It took away from the beautiful lamb dish. Thought they'd be on the side and fresh. The peas were either canned or over cooked. Always enjoy the entirety of my experience regardless if seated at the bar or a table. Delicious. Highly recommended. Friendly, engaging, and attentive staff. Don’t let the menu intimidate you as I have never had less than a great meal or experience. Reservations are highly recommended no matter the day of the week or time. A nice start with warm bread is always appreciated. The butter is soft and spreadable or you can go with the oil and parmasan on the table. The homemade rigatoni is outstanding. Huge thick rolls of pasta are unlike any pasta I've ever had before. Matched with the vodka sauce is perfect. Great job guys. My wife loves the chicken marsala (her favorite is La Scarola) and lemonchello for dessert. Not the correct spelling but my wife actually starts her meal with dessert here, really really good. Tried the ravioli with the vodka sauce and was very good. My stepdaughter tried the lasagne and said it was just OK. Capri in Burr Ridge is in our top 20 Italian restaurants in the city.
