This was such a great stop! We went twice during our weekend stay and had great pastries and cookies each time. Baked in-house, all their delicacies are decent sized, reasonably priced (comparatively for the current economy), and the coffee was good too. I always love a quality pastry with my coffee, so we'll definitely be stopping in again next time we're in town.

Buttermilk Bar
This little place opened at 7 AM. I was driving by so I decided to give it a shot. There is a bit of seating outside. Inside it's nice and updated. I waited in a short line, even right at 7 AM, which speaks to the place's popularity. However, I expected a nice, warm, fresh-baked donut. My maple bar did not taste like it was made this morning. The bread was actually slightly dry, and the maple coating was, well, not totally fresh. I don't eat a lot of carbs, so I was a bit disappointed that I blew my carb quota here. The coffee didn't really speak to me either. But I'm giving this place four stars because it was the only place open on the strip at 7 o'clock. And they had lots to choose from. And the service was good. And I walked straight down to the beach and Haystack rock was about a half mile off in the distance, so I utilized most of the carbs!
Start out by saying the maple donut and the M&M cookie were fantastic. The reason I'm leaving a 3 star is because of the very poor service. Was just kind of watching and neither one of the two working looked like they wanted to be there. They were very impatient with each person they were helping and not kind at all. After I went to the bakery I went and read some reviews and unfortunately this is pretty common here. Good bakery though.
The cinnamon roll was amazing. Not too sweet and not too much cream cheese. The turnover was okay. Definitely could use more filling. My daughter siad the cookies were good. The brownie was very rich and decadent with a really fudgy taste. They got my mom's coffee perfect.
Wow, no question this place gets 5 Stars from me, between the pastries and the coffee (not to mention the great selection), I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an early morning pick me up!
We stopped here before most of the shops in town opened. Little did we know that we were doing a DOUBLE breakfast on this day, so we wet a little nuts pastry wise.
The Apple Cider donut was a top 10 donuts in my book. They are old fashioned style and it was crispy on the outside just like I like them. My girlfriend got a Cream Cheese Danish, which I hate, but she seemed to enjoy it.
If we had stayed in Cannon Beach for longer, I would have liked to try their sourdough bread, which seems to be the thing to get here. They also had great looking bagels and cupcakes.
Shout out to their shirts (pictured). I really thought they were creative. All of this plus top notch coffee gets this place 5 Stars!
I was looking for coffee and the bakery was the only place open early in the morning. More importantly, was the doughnuts and pastries that I found. I chose to get an assorted box so was able to pick all of my favorites. The staff was kind and friendly giving me a welcoming feeling. Which started my morning with a smile. I wasn’t done exploring yet and did not want to carry my sweet treasures all over the place. The staff allowed me to leave my box of goodies on the back shelf so I could pick it up right before I returned to my hotel. This allowed me to purchase all my favorites before they were sold out for the day. The bakery also has made to order deli sandwiches. I found it very convenient as I was later getting hungry, to make a customized order online while I was exploring the beach, which was just a short walk from the bakery. Such a beautiful town! Anyway, my experience at the Cannon Beach Bakery was awesome and will be on the top of my list of places to go every time I visit Cannon Beach. Matter of fact, I think I’m gonna get another box of doughnuts and pastries to take back home with me before I leave town.

My husband and I had our wedding cake made her this past weekend for our wedding in Cannon Beach and it was phenomenal! Everyone commented how amazing the cake was and how simple yet elegant it was decorated. We will be stopping in every time we visit to get a little slice of heaven! Thank you so much!
I’ve loved visiting Cannon Beach for years and I definitely always make a stop at one of my favorite spots in town, the Bakery! Amazing and delicious treats, always so fresh and the customer service is delightful. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the coast.

Apple Cinnamon Danish
A bakery with a long history in town. We checked out the present day shop and found it to be very clean and the help was friendly. We enjoyed the many different pastries we got, as well as the chai tea and hot chocolate.

This was the only coffee shop open at 7am. The Mexican mocha was fantastic! All of their baked goods looked amazing. I went with the pesto roll.. looked like a cinnamon roll with pesto and parmesan instead of cinnamon and icing. Yummy! My husband had the almond bear claw. Also yummy! Going back tomorrow to try some more goodies and I can't wait!
