I’ve been here many times and it’s a great place to read or get some work done. Unfortunately, I decided to grab some food for once and ended up with food poisoning. My sandwich had some tomatoes with suspicious black spots that I did not notice until it was too late.
Come here for the drinks and the productive environment, but I do not recommend coming for any food.
I love this cafe’s atmosphere and the staff is very friendly and efficient! It’s a great place to get some work done. The almond croissants especially are delicious and I’m hoping that the crème brûlée will make a comeback sometime soon!
That being said, have noticed that since the menu has changed, the process for making lattes has deteriorated.
Instead of pulling the espresso shot fresh for every order, there seems to be a large glass of pre made espresso that’s used. Additionally, only a small amount is added to a large latte so you don’t really taste rhetorical espresso. If the coffee could be made to order and with sufficient espresso shots that would be amazing!
