A beautiful place with a great view. Interesting and varied menu. A solid wine list. High level of service. We tried the freshest oysters from Canada, ceviche, salads. Especially liked the pasta with crab. Awesome pudding for dessert. Everything is of the highest level. Not cheap, but worth the money. What a wonderful dining experience!!! The food was absolutely delicious. The evening on their outdoor patio was just perfect. And our server, Joao, was the highlight of our evening! He was an absolute blast!!!! Charming, funny, and did not steer us wrong with any of his recommendations. The next time we’re in Calypso, we would hope to have him as our server again. My husband and I spent an amazing evening here on our recent trip to Grand Cayman. The atmosphere, the energy, and the food were all top notch without feeling fussy. We LOVED our entrees; Grilled Wahoo with Chimichurri and Ginger Tuna, and the Sticky Toffee Pudding has its reputation for a reason. not to be missed. Cocktails were great as well, they shake a great martini! We will be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Food is delicious but very pricey . We had crab linguini and grilled snapper with oysters as an appetizer and all that was $140 And we were still hungry after so plating is not very rich and big but it is tasry Very very pricey if you wanna have multiple or if u drink. Nice for a special one night dinner tho It is windy so bring a light something on and there is plenty of parking Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Managed to get in without a reservation. Quite crowded as tables are close together. Some disappointments with the meal, like very shredded potato frites (see photo). Excellent service but this place is expensive - one of the most expensive on Grand Cayman. I had a delicious pork chop and my wife the blackened snapper. The sticky toffee pudding is one of the best on the Island. We found parking a bit tight as the restaurant across the road is very popular and took many of the parking spaces. Incredible!! By far, our favorite place on Grand Cayman. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made us laugh. We went specifically to try the sticky date pudding. This is the best sticky date pudding we have had. This is a place to ensure you visit! Service Dine in Meal type Other Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Sticky Toffee Pudding

Calypso Grill was recommended by our hotel. It is about a 10-minute drive from Seven Mile Beach and is located on the waterfront. The staff were very friendly. We mainly wanted cocktails and food for lighter appetite, so we opted for fish and chips and the shrimp appetizer. Both were delicious along with our cocktails. The atmosphere was open air with a nice breeze - very enjoyable. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Fish and Chips

Visited for lunch on Mother's Day 2023: The Calypso Grill is a hidden gem of a restaurant nestled in West Bay on Grand Cayman Island. . This little spot never fails to impress with its delectable offerings, and our recent visit on Mother's Day was no exception. The Seafood Rundown, was a sublime medley of fresh lobster, shrimps, scallops, as well as mussels. The flavors were expertly balanced with the rich and creamy coconut milk sauce. But no meal at the Calypso Grill would be complete without their legendary Sticky Toffee Pudding. This divine dessert is a true masterpiece at this restaurant, combining the warmth of a traditional British pudding-cake with the tropical twist of a velvety toffee sauce. With a side of vanilla ice cream of course! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch
This is our FAVORITE place to dine on the island. Fresh fish to die for….yummy tropical cocktails and wine. The service is outstanding. Who doesn’t love to dine right on the water? It’s a perfect setting all around. This restaurant is a bit off the beaten path but if you are visiting Grand Cayman this is a MUST. You will not be disappointed. "Joe" our waiter from Portugal made our experience very enjoyable and memorable. Food was well cooked and seasoned. The sticky toffee pudding was awesomely delicious (especially when complimented with the vanilla ice cream) Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Grilled Snapper
