Old Town Murrieta is a very quiet place most days, but Calhoun's is always busy with lots of take out orders and people going through. Service is very fast and it appears that you can call ahead to order. The menu is standard fare for American BBQ, and everything we tried off the menu is good. The physical space is very small, they only have about 4 tables so I wouldn't recommend coming with a large group and expecting to sit down and eat. They pack everything in to go boxes so it's easy to just grab your order and go. The food and service is superb, you can definitely tell everything made from scratch and with care!
