Lori was easy to talk to about details and my expectations. The buttercream was good, although a hint of almond may have given it a more refined flavor (Lori no longer eats/tries her buttercream, as she had " so much of it throughout the years". I gave her an idea of a hint of a peach color and she obliged with simple roses of that color. The cake was tastie and tastefully decorated for our 37th Anniversary combined with 2dz. cupcakes for 60th Birthday. (The spiced cupcakes were the favorite of our guests.) I will consider her for future gatherings.
The only thing I wish had been different was that she could've delivered for us, as I had to pick it up by myself on that busy day and we have curvy roads toward our home. So, I did have a bit of a "slide" into the box, which was NOT tall enough or lodged tightly enough for the cake not to slide to one side. Thankfully, I was able to turn it slightly for placement on my cakestand and most people didn't notice the faux pas. I did listen and abide by the directions to refrigerate before the beginning of the party. And I didnt add it to our decor until about a half hour before cake cutting time. Also, I added my original cake topper to it with a signage of "Mr&Mrs" from the Party Store in Champaign.

Lori did an amazing job on both of our wedding cakes! They were not only gorgeous, but delicious and she was a pleasure to work with!

Lori makes beautiful, delicious wedding cakes! She gave us lots of flavor combination and decoration options, and helped us pick the best quantities for our guest count. She also decorated the cake with blooms from our florist, and it was breathtakingly beautiful! She bakes a replica of your top tier on your 1 year anniversary, so we were able to have the one she made for the wedding brought up to our room to snack on at the end of the night - we can't wait to have it again next year!

We had a beautiful cake for our wedding! Many guests asked for Lori's name because the cake and cupcakes were so wonderful! I regret not eating more than a nibble. We look forward to our one year anniversary cake! SO LOVELY!

Brought a cake from Lori for my wife's birthday. After simply showing her the design of the cake I wanted on my phone, she easily exceeded our expectations! Red Velvet on the inside, Black & White polka dot on the outside! We'll be back for an Anniversary Cake!
