Nicely decorated restaurant with good food, but limited flexibility. This is a popular restaurant next the Big City shopping mall which means that it’s convenient to park in the mall and eat there. Note that it’s a good place to take guests and with slightly upmarket prices (and not very large portions apart from the chicken and cabbage soup). The dishes are Shanghai style and slightly sweeter than other places. Generally everything we ordered tasted nice and fresh. I particularly enjoyed the cabbage and chicken soup and the beef with spring onions. The egg with tomato would have benefited from a pinch of salt to balance the heavy sweetness. There were a couple of things that could have been improved: Vegetation options: A couple of our party were vegetarian and were careful to ask if the dishes they wanted continued meat and to choose ones that didn’t. They were still brought a tufu dish with meat despite checking (it was remade but still). Additionally most the veg contained meat. Generally I wouldn’t go if you have any vegetarians in your party even if they’re not very strict. The other thing that was below par was the service speed for basic things like bringing rice and clearing the table. Servers would take one or two empty dishes and leave the rest on the table to the point where we asked them to clear the table once there bought the desserts as there wasn’t much room for the small bowls. Really just a bit more training needed. Overall a good tasty experience in a nice atmosphere, but with some caveats and at quite a high price. Very cool restaurant residing inside a townhouse. Very crowded, lots of big parties and events. All the dishes are very tasty and well presented. Better call to reserve your table; otherwise it is very unlikely to be seated walk-in. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $600–800

This restaurant is really great. The food has a lot of flavour to it. The staff are nice and friendly and really enjoyed our meal. We did order this pork dish that had pork belly and a side of pickles I think it was, it has to be the best pork I have ever had. Totally recommend it. Dishes r really tasty,totally to my taste,felt pricy though. There was only one bad&sad experience was that one waitress of 3rd floor neglected our calling.we saw obviously that she was too busy to handle more,trying not to get aware of other customers asking. I know it was during their busy time but it was ok to just say “wait a moment” or something. I realized how the impression will change even without just one phrase. However,I really like their taste,so wanna visit again.

Great spot for family gatherings, I enjoy all their dishes especially the 上海紅燒肉. White rice is $15 NT per bowl and the side dishes range from $100-$200 NT. All are very tasty.

Crazy good food. Popular with locals, this higher-end restaurant is nothing like "Chinese Food", as known to Americans. Highly recommended.

Disappointed in the fried shrimp 金沙蝦. The shell is still not crunchy enough it takes me forever to chew it enough to swallow it without feeling uncomfortable. Egg plant is good. 白肉 cold plate is good. 2022.12
