The sandwiches were good, nothing to write home about. I think they needed some sauce or more veggies to bulk up the sandwiches a bit. There was just a lot of bread and it was all very soft. No nice crunch. We got the Cuban and one of the breakfast sandwiches. The shop is super cute on the inside though, would be a great place to study or work. Coffee ☕️ was refreshing and delicious 😋 Southwestern salad was not that good, only had mostly the sauces and chips. Lettuce seemed old. Loved the cafe decor. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 4
I came here for the first time & it will be my last time. I ordered five 12 oz drinks. Yes, 12 oz. And my total was $32. Um what?! How? After I paid, I thought to myself, ‘well then it’s gotta be really good right?’ It was mediocre. Nothing special about it. Disappointed that I spent that much on drinks that didn’t even taste that great. Not worth the money. Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $1–10 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
Their coffee is really good, but not "$7 for a 12 oz latte" good. All three times I've tried their food, it has been quite bad. And I'm not a picky eater by any means. Overall I would give the quality of their drinks 5 stars but for inflating the price so much, I have to reduce that to a 3. The food is 1-star. The interior is a really nice vibe. I'm also not a fan of this tipping trend that gives the lowest option at 20% when you pay with a card, then your other options are 25 or 30% and you feel like a jerk if you manually type in a different amount (I usually tip 20%, but I consider that a high tip and realize most people would appreciate lower options). It's insane. Pay your people better if that much tip is considered necessary. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Their coffee is one of my favorites and my drinks are always on point. But the one complaint I have is, when someone in front of you orders food, it can take a long time before you even get up to the window to order a drink. I don’t think that’s really fair that for something that could take five minutes to make, you have to wait behind someone whose order may take 20 plus minutes. I think what they should do is have them pull forward and park and wait for someone to bring their food out, like most fast food places do if it’s gonna be a longer wait. Because the wait is really causing a back up at times and makes me not want to come back.

Been here a few times, never an issue the salads and wraps are amazing. That said I will never purchase the Savage sourdough, it was way more than an average breakfast sandwich; eggs were hard poached, not fried as stated, bacon undercooked in the middle but burnt on the edges, and so much mustard it dripped everywhere. Disappointing. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
1/7/23 Today, Spur of the moment, we decided to have lunch at Caffe Cocina in Poulsbo, Washington. Foolish me, on our way there, I had my hubby stop at The 303 Coffee House (which used to be M&T) next to Lowes to grab me an Americano. Had I been thinking straight, I would have waited to grab coffee at Caffe Cocina! Moving on. Hubby was in the mood for a sandwich, and we had passed Caffe Cocina's many times on our way to downtown Poulsbo; glancing at a menu online, I discovered they did offer a few sandwiches -YAY- My first complaint (darn it, there's that word "complaint") was their tight parking area, lack of parking spaces, and lots of maneuvering involved with little room to do so. Another quibble (instead of the word complaint), Inside, although cute, was small, with four, maybe five tables and a small bar area that seated four people. Menus are not readily available when there are people in line to order, meaning menus are on the main counter; the area is so small three people in line is a crowd. Hubby and I grabbed the last two seats at the bar, and I stepped in line to grab our menus. Options for food items are decent, only a few items but enough for a good selection. Hubby hopped back in line with two people in front of him and five behind him and stood there for almost ten minutes waiting to order; once he placed our orders, we waited nearly twenty minutes to receive two sandwiches. Although three people were working, they appeared to be a little more concerned about their drive-up customers versus their in-house customers. Incoming a third grumble. Food-wise I had a Cubano, which consisted of a toasted ciabatta roll, ham, pulled pork, butter pickle, swiss cheese, and mustard. Small in size, but the overall taste was good, but not exceptional. And it was just a sandwich with no chips, fruits, or sides. Was it worth over $12? Without some side offered, I can't say it was. Hubby had a Chicken artichoke melt, toasted ciabatta roll, roasted chicken, artichoke spread, and provolone cheese. The taste of the sandwich was decent, it really was, but we both expected the sandwich to have at least lettuce on it. It, too, came with no sides and overall was too small and plain for the price of over $12. Unfortunately, I cannot give an opinion about their coffee aside from them offering a very sizeable selection of beverages, ranging from 8 oz to 24 oz. From basic drip coffee to lattes, cappuccinos, and everything in the middle. Caffe Cocina also offers a variety of specialty coffees like Con Panna, an espresso with whipped cream; another is called Undertow, which is milk or cream at the bottom; vanilla and then espresso that tops it. Many other coffee drinks, tea drinks, juices, smoothies, beer, and wine are available. Caffe Cocina also offers a small breakfast menu! This coffee house always seems busy, outside and In, which leads me to believe they have to be doing something right with their coffees, so if I can remember when I'm in Poulsbo again, I will do my due diligence to grab a coffee and re-review. Friendliness of the server/staff. My hubby stated the staff member that took his order was polite enough but scattered and trying to do multiple things. Could understaffing be an issue? Most likely. I do like that Caffe Cocina partners with a local farm, a small business that supports other small businesses is a win. They also roast locally with fair trade organic coffee! My advice is if you are in the neighborhood, try them out for yourself; my opinion is mine alone! Thank you for continuing to support small local businesses when they thrive; we thrive as a community! And please be kind to ALL living things 🐾🌲
We loved the vibe of this Cafe! The breakfast sandwiches were delicious and our chocolates were very tasty and warm. She specifically asked if the 8oz was for our son so she could make it an appropriate temperature. How thoughtful! I have met the owner twice and both times i have been impressed. Look forward to our next morning walk to this Cafe. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Quick and delicious breakfast sandwich and even better latte. I love dining in- because it feels like I'm at home- well quieter than home but just as cozy. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
