This is definitely the hidden gem in Imsouane. The best Tagine we had in this town but just a heads up that it takes 1 hour to cook. It can get quite busy but you can book a table in advance.

Definitely my favorite place to eat in Imsouane. I think it’s called Cafe Tamazight, so don’t get confused. The food is delicious, I especially recommend the calamari tajine for dinner and the omelettes and msemens for breakfast.

We had dinner at the cafe Tachelhit every days of our stay in Imsouane. The food was great and it was really local. We tried other Tajina and cous cous during our trip in Marocco and the ones tasted at this cafe were one of the best. They took their time to prepare dishes because everything is prepared at the moment of the order. If you want to have dishes faster you need to book them in advance (at least one day). Don’t be deceived by the apparent simplicity of the location it deserves to be tried. Thanks Amina for your smile I will always keep it in my heart.

Prolly the most decent restaurant for local cuisine. Amazing people and tajines . Not many places do lamb tagine but you can get it here. The portion is also probably the most generous.
It gets busy so best to reserve prior or come early as waiting time can be up to 1hr.
The only problem I have with this place is that I found it on my last night here :(

Absolutely delicious tagines. You might need to wait a bit for the food, especially if you order meat (one hour or so) and in busy hours it gets pretty packed, but it's definitely worth it!
