Lovely cafe at the heart of Alvesta. 2 minutes away from the train station. Busy at 11.45 but staff very helpful, especially the owner in helping us find a seat. Buffet is recommended with a variety of food; from fresh muesli to bacon and egg and everything in between. Very cosy (possibly a former pub?). Also scrumptious cakes and tempting treats to take away. A must visit😊

Like others, we stopped in while awaiting our connection to Stockholm. We hadn’t read any reviews before stopping in and were late for the lunch hour. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and the food was divine! I highly recommend the club sandwich and potato-leek soup. My husband had the lunch buffet of pork with sesame rice, plus a hummus salad. They even offered us free coffee for the road to go with the pastries we bought for the train. Super cute spot with a clear group of regulars who know the owners well. That speaks really well of a place. Don’t miss this little gem in this quiet little town. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person kr 100–200

Amazing place!!! Dropped in by chance, while waiting for a train connection. Just the interior was worth a visit. Swedish "mysigt" meet Japanese " kawaii". Food tasty and delicate. Thank you so much!

this place is super duper cute. kawaii is actually the right term. as it’s a japanese flavored swedish konditory and more. besides nice cakes and sandwiches, they sell a bunch of nice items like applemust and artesenal chocolates, coffee beans. i ordered the frukost (breakfast) with eggs and bacon which comes with just great fresh bread. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person kr 100–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The service is excellent. The food is extremely tasty. And the place is cozy and has a warm "you're welcomed" atmosphere.

We discovered this place last fall, as we had to wait for our connection train to Gothenburg. The fantastic Japanese lady that runs this cafè has brought the traditional welcoming attitude I experienced in Japan. The food we had was fantastic, freshly baked sourdough buns stuffed with delicious stuff, together with delightful Japanese genmaicha tea. The walls of the cozy room are decorated and mixing Swedish and Japanese culture. A true gem!
