I’ve lived in Salt Lake City for over 40 years. Tonight was my first time visiting Cafe Silvestre. I have been missing out. The food was great! The service was amazing. All the employees jump in and work well together covering for one another when someone else is busy. We lucked out that it was Thursday and $3 margarita night so that was a plus. Everything was wonderful! We will definitely be back. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Hand-Cut Chips and Salsa
I know this restaurant has been around for quite a while but I've never eaten there until last week & I'm extremely impressed at how delicious the food was & how nicely updated it was inside. I definitely plan to eat there again. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Salsa
Food was delicious and awesome, service was great, and the restuarant was quiet. All the food was made from fresh, the tortillas were hot and fresh. Great place to go out to eat. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This place is awesome! The food is hot and and very tasty! Green Chile Burrito is recommended on my part. Rice, beans, Chips and Salsa is delicious! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We enjoyed the Mexican food here! By far the best I have had in the Salt Lake Valley. I highly recommend this place. The food is well seasoned and was delicious. The salsa is definitely one of the best I’ve had-medium heat at best with a depth of flavor. The portion sizes are decent. My wife had the Pork Carnitas which came with your choice of 4 flour or corn tortillas for $12. I had the Smothered Chili Verde burrito $14. Each entree comes with rice and beans. The bottomless chips and salsa $3. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Smothered Burrito Plate

Oh my. This place gets more than 5 stars if I could! The enchilada sauce (gravy as they call it) is super duper delicious. The queso is smooth and creamy and flavorful. It’s located just off if I-215 kind of by the Maverik Center. Sunday is a different brunch menu from the usual everyday fare. They are closed Mondays. Service is always good and food is piping hot. Everything we’ve tried has been something we would order again. Only bummer is you have to pay extra for the chips and salsa. It’s not included with your meal.
