This was really disappointing. Service was so slow. We waited an hour from ordering to starters. Food was mediocre but it was just painful waiting. The bathrooms are disgusting. The tables and menus are sticky. It's a nice location but not worth returning to. The bar took 30mins + to make our basic drinks and forgot the smoothie for my toddler all together. The staff were fraught. The table.next to us had to leave before their food arrived (an hour) because they had other plans. They also aren't clear on gluten free needs. Not a great experience. Great location across from the park (so our kids could play while we waited for our food). EXTREMELY fast service - fastest in the entire island, I think! And the server gave us bubbles for our toddlers, which was greatly appreciated! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Awesome little restaurant in a nice public bay area. The food was really good, service was good and nice atmosphere not too far away from the water. We had an assortment of entrees and it was all great. I would venture to say you can't go wrong ordering at this place. **Note - fluent in English shouldn't be any issues if you can't speak Spanish. We had an absolutely delightful experience at Café Playero! The brunch was simply exquisite, and they have the best cappuccino in town. The ambiance was warm and inviting. Our waitress, Fabi, was truly exceptional. Her recommendations were spot on, and her cheerful presence made us feel right at home. Her grandmother’s homemade coconut arepas are to die for. This was my second time going and it was great both times. Fabi was our server both times and she is absolutely amazing. Answer all our questions about the menu. We tried the coconut arepas and OMG I feel in love. She told me they are home made by her grandmother. Abuelita God bless those hands... Food was great.. Will definitely be coming back. We had an amazing breakfast with stellar coffee drinks! Resonably priced with excellent views of the water! Our waiter Emmanuel was friendly, courteous, and had a good sense of humor (especially since we kept changing our order). I highly recommend this cafe! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast
