All facade when it comes to integrity; kicked out a guest who had been a victim to a crime committed by the person who conducted the book reading there that day just because they rented that space, and as if they (who rented the space) owns the whole building. They could have allowed the guest (and a calm one at that considering the circumstances) to move elsewhere in that building but they didn't and instead allowed one spoilt reader of the day to continue shouting their heads off causing a scene. Support toxic people do we?

Really charming place with super friendly staff
Magical place for the book lover! 😍 Amazingly tasty soup, home baked bread, and good tea and coffee. Vegan options available. The selection of books is fantastic, as is the eclectic mix of old tables and chairs scattered across multiple smaller rooms. Excellent children's section too. I'll definitely be back, both for lunch, and book shopping!

Best cafe in Umeå! Super cute and cozy. Nice selection of baked goods and good coffee.
Great collection of books and connected to excellent recordstore. Great for kids books too. Serves a good soup lunch on weekdays with fresh baked bread in a lovely living room atmosphere. Every other Sunday evening there's a tango café.

It's so homely. It's just the cutest little café with a book shop in the back! And they even have Mumin mugs for sale! The cookies maybe aren't the best thing in the world but they hold up pretty well still. The cookies aren't the main focus tho. Their tea selection is awesome, ranging from orange tea to peach-and-cream tea! I tried the peach and cream tea and it was excellent! They even have free honey, sugar cubes, brown sugar cubes, oatly milk, soya milk and regular milk, free to take for your tea! Would recommend to anyone in the area that has a little time to go to a wonderful café! :D
Incredibly cozy cafe + bookstore. Truly heartfelt place with very kind staff and customers altogether. Very small though, you'll be lucky if you get a spot during busy hours!

The absolute best place in town for a relaxing fika or tasty bowl of soup! <3
Cosy, great lunch, perfekt for book-browsing (but mostly Swedish books).
