Very good food. A little more pricey than what I was anticipating based on where/what this place is (tucked away under a stairwell and takeout only). The quality of the food makes it worth it. This is not a cheesesteak grill kind of place. All the food is top notch and justifies the cost. Not the easiest place to find in the building. Just follow your nose. Online ordering makes it even easier. Pay attention to their daily specials because they sell out quickly. A hidden gem.

If you haven’t tried this place you are missing out. The Gnotta Gnocchi Bomb was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The hand rolled ricotta stuffed Gnudi were little puffs of heaven, not heavy at all. Everything I’ve ever gotten here has been delicious. Put this place on your must go to place. Don’t let the entrance at the back of the building deter you, follow the signs and you won’t be disappointed. The people who work there are as great as the food. I want to give them ALL THE STARS (5 isn’t enough).

I am sooooo excited to have found this place. Was searching around for a new lunch spot, and this place popped up. Café on the DL is a true name for the location! It was a lot of fun to find and try. Located in the SOUTH building of the executive campus, hang around the bend to the left, door on the right (sign says it above). Ordered a Pop's Burrata Bomber off the "Something Special" menu -- where they have new daily specials. Keep an eye out! Sandwich was delicious seeded-soft bread, prosciutto, truffle burrata, balsamic glaze, roasted peppers, garlic herb aioli, arugula & red onions. Holyyyy molllyyyyy. Absolutely delicious. Fell in love. Also got a side of Truffle Tots. Savory & crunchy. The best. Decided last second on the Naan and Whipped Hummus. Fantastic!!!! Warm bread, flavorful, perfect combination of all. As much as I love the "DL" factor, more people need to try this place!!!! 10/10. I'm a customer for life now. Can't wait to try something new next!!!

The café is tucked away in a corner of a corporate office / building, but the service and food are really good!
The person at the counter was very friendly and lively, and I look forward to stopping by for food again when I am in the area

Delicious food with high quality ingredients. I had the Salisbury Meatball sandwich which tasted great, and the fresh seeded roll held up while eating it. My wife had the chicken italiano which was stacked perfectly with a little bit of each ingredient in every bite. My 2 yo daughter enjoyed the grilled chicken and hardboiled eggs. She also loved the cookies which we got some free for being first time customers. Super friendly people as well! Will be back. To find it just enter the office building and head left around the corner. From that hallway you'll see a sign (and follow your nose)
My husband and I visited for the first time this afternoon for lunch and I wish we would have tried it sooner! We both had the Salisbury Sammy Special and it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back!

Awesome hidden gem! Do yourself a favor and find this cafe (it’s not hard). Food is fresh and delicious, but the people and service is what will keep you going back. The owners are behind the counter serving up great food and welcoming conversation! Looking forward to my next visit.
I walked in and felt immediately at home! Lisa and Dan are very friendly and genuine. I got to learn about a couple of things that have happened over the course of their business being open and how the cafe itself is run. It's a breath of fresh air from the overly-corporate environment that surrounds us daily.
I got the cheddah turkey BBQ on a plain roll, and let me just say each bite was as good as the first! Dan even tossed in a pretzel stick, which made a perfect side to the sandwich. The meal was not only fulfilling, but also extremely satisfying!
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking through the reviews. You'll be searching to find it, but it's worth the hunt!

Bavarian Pretzels
We went to Cafe on the DL for breakfast today. It is in an office plaza behind the Bertucci’s. It is a pick up style place. The owners were so lovely and kind and so was Charlie, the employee. We got two breakfast sandwiches, the 3 Little Pigs and the Dan’s Beard but on Brioche. These sandwiches are HUGE. The bacon is thick, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the cheese was melty and just the right amount. We also got tots that were well seasoned and crispy. Then we also got the pretzels with stone mustard and they were buttery and soft. I also got a Winter Roots salad and I added chicken and some other toppings, as I spend most of my money on food. I haven’t tasted this yet but it looks very good. I can see why this place gets so many food reviews.
When searching for cafés, this one always came up when I was in or near Marlton. For one reason or another, I had not had a chance to visit until now. My hubby and I were out returning a Christmas gift, and because I have also heard so much about this place from posts on a Facebook group, South Jersey Food Scene, I looked it up so we could give it a try.
Café on the DL is tucked away in an industrial park in a corporate building. Don’t be ashamed if you have to ask someone in the building where it is. We didn’t ask because someone beat us to it asking us if we were looking for the café. We must have looked very lost! Could this be where they got their name?
Once we found it, we were impressed right away. Not necessarily by the decor, although it was very nice, but by the owners, Dan and Lisa. We immediately felt welcome, almost like we have known each other forever. Could this be where they got their name?
I could go on and on forever about how much we enjoyed the 15 minutes we were there. My husband ordered the popular daily special, Garlic Parm Pulled Pork (on a plain roll), and I ordered the Chicken Italiano (on a seeded roll) off the menu. We mentioned that we would probably try each other’s sandwich, and they offered to cut them and put half of each in our separate containers. Great idea! Great Service!
The Café on the DL is not a dine-in establishment, so even though the service was fast, we wouldn’t know if we liked the sandwiches until we got home. And oh boy, did we drive as fast (and safely) as we could as the aroma of the food was amazing all on its own!
Verdict? DELICIOUS! Both rolls were fresh and soft. And the flavors on both were mind-blowing for our tastebuds.
It would be an understatement to say
I recommend them. Going back 20 years, I wish I had a café like this (run by them specifically) in my corporate building. They opened in February, but I think it’s safe to say if “DL” really means “Down Low” - they are no longer a secret.
