Vi kom 25 minuter efter öppning. Personal i princip ignorerade oss, trots att vi stod vid kassan. Till slut fick vi kontakt. Då sa de att maten var slut. Och samtidigt kokade de pasta. Maten var alltså slut 25 minuter efter öppning. Ingen mat kunde erbjudas och kocken stod helt hysterisk inne i köket och viftade med armarna och sa att det kommer ej finnas mer mat att köpa.
Vi vände och gick ut. Kass service och otrevligt. Kommer inte gå dit igen.

We went to Styrsö on a spontaneous sidetrip, during our stay in Gothenburg.
Since the island is small, there is not too many choices in Restaurants or Cafés. This is why we tried our luck at Café Obergska and we were very surprised. They have a very creative chef, everything is homemade, including their bread and pastry. We enjoyed some beers and a lovely mackerel dish. The service was great and the ambiente exactly how you‘d imagine it in a sleepy fisher town. Highly recommendable!

Specifically asked if they were open, which they said they were, told them we were coming, which they acknowledged with a 👍, then we get there and the door is locked, the person inside turns off the lights and shouts “we’re closed.” Terrible, especially after making a trip out on the ferry.

Very nice place to relax while waiting for the ferry for example. Their wines were very good, we didn’t eat so can’t judge but we did see a large piece of meat with a knife in it so man-cave maybe 😅 The atmosphere was cosy. Very social I would say.
