100% Authentic. The family will greet you and give you an overview of their farm and coffee production, as well as a taste of their freshly roasted Arabica. We met both Abuelos and even received a blessing from Abuelo who is a deacon. Beautiful setting and great company. Highly recommended if you like authenticity and not commercialized junk. They also sell their product on site in a little shop.
The place was beautiful, please call beforehand. The owners were really sweet, attentive, polite, and share their story. The entrance is free of charge. You can have an amazing time with your friends and family.
It's one of the best coffees you will taste!
I highly recommend it, but call before going.

Call First! As of Sep 2023 they're going through some construction and updates. We called, we understood that they could not do a tour but went anyway, just the two of us. Abuela received us. She was so kind and a wealth of information. Her daughter joined when she got back from town, and let me tell you, I was blown away. The passion they have is amazing. We talked for hours. Tried the coffee and what a revelation! No bitterness, intense flavor and smooth. This is just their family farm, their home, so don't go expecting flashy touristy fluff. Just kindhearted people trying to make a living while trying to make a difference.

What an amazing experience!! We had always dreamt of visiting a coffee plantation but Cafe Mis Abuelos surpassed any expectations we had. Adriana gave us a lovely tour of the farm & roastery and explained the entire life of a coffee bean - from the cherry to the cup. The location is quite near to Mayaguez and the drive was manageable. The atmosphere was amazing and the entire family met us with such hospitality. Certainly recommend paying a visit if you’re a coffee lover visiting Puerto Rico! (also - if you are unsure about how to make arrangements to visit as I was , they are very responsive over email on Facebook messenger!! The phone number on Google and the website didn’t seem to work for us)
Most unique product and coffee experience served with pride from a breathtaking coffee plantation in the mountains. The original owners, and their grandchildren were warm and welcoming.

Can't say enough about the fabulous hospitality and conversation. Please call first. We did not see that online before we went, and still had the most gracious hosts. We certainly hope to be back and excited to see what the future holds for this fantastic family business!
