Impromptu plan to have our lunch here. But it was such a nice experience. We really enjoyed the lake breezes while having our mouth-watering pizza. Had markisa juice (a must try!) for the first time and I love it! Will definitely come again to try other dishes

Pizza Kayu Bakar
Place was very nice especially near to the lake. Emple parking space. Food service was fast and the taste of the food was great. The portion also very big and can be eaten by 2 person. Request to owner to put barrier near to the lake to prevent unnecessary accident especially to children.

Buttermilk Chicken
The lake-side view is the main attraction here. There are few stalls within the range which sell coffee, desserts and charcoal pizza. However the markisa cafe itself is pretty ordinary in the term of food. There are plenty of local dishes seletion to western. The taste is just nice, nothing extra. Markisa juice is a must-try!

This place went viral on social media, so I went here with my family to see it for ourselves:
Pros:
1. Nice lake view.
2. Ample parking space though dusty.
3. Pizza oven tasted great (RM25 each), you have to order it yourself at the different stall.
Cons:
1. Food at the cafe- quite reasonable price, the taste was just ok BUT it was served cold, so sad! 😰
2. Drinks- tried Markisa RM10, but I guess it wasn't worth it because there was only little fruit (Markisa) in the juice with lots of ice cubes.
For me, this place is overrated. There are still rooms for improvements.

Different dining experience. The place is situated next to a lake, with refreshing gusts of wind (well maybe too strong sometimes but nature has its way). The food selection is nice if you like lamb and beef. The seating area is aplenty and parking spaces available.

Ordered the half platter beef n mutton, RM55 n RM85 each respectively. Taste wise n portion is so-so n personally not really recommended to call these dish. Their buttermilk kupang has generous portion but thr buttermilk is too watery.
Now u cannot order pizza fr the staff n need to walk to their special booth to order n wait time can be an hour during peak time. U also need to go n collect urself as they won't send to ur table. Pizza is RM25 each n taste is ok.

easy access. got many parking spaces. during my visit, not so crowded. maybe because i went on weekday. got many tables, lot's of menu including western food. also small cuties cake shop, coffee shop, pizza stall which is the pizza is so delicious. but the thing i really like was the cookies at the front before entering the eating space. the smell so aromatic, the biscuit itself so so soooooo delicious. got 3 types, milo, kitkat and oreo. my preference is milo which is not so sweet, little bit of bitter. kitkat is somehow so sweet for me while orea is kind a less sweet for me. hahaha. last time, i taste their nasi daging bakar. the meat is tender. time service is good. no need to wait for long time for the food. but careful when ordering their water. it got in a big big cup which is so hard to finish it🤣🤣🤣🤣. you may consider to share between your partners or family because the amount is enormous 🤣🤣. also got lake, you can relaxing your mind. got swing, you can ootd. got garden, you can buy tree or flower. the toilet got 16 door. no need to wait. got praying place too.

I'm so sorry to say this but I really think this cafe is very overrated. The food was disappointing, the service was just okay. I've read a few reviews before going but couldn't help into believing the bad or the good ones. So after coming here myself, I don't think I will give it a revisit anytime in the future. Food needs A LOOOOOTTT more improvement. Makanan terlalu biasa. Dah la tak panas😭😭😭😭
Parking spot are all unpaved and dusty. I think most people came here just solely for the lake view, which is kind of not worth it. You guys can do better.
