Came around 5ish and quite a few times are sold out:( left with tarts and french toast. Their tarts are powering sweet for my taste buds. I like the crust of the tarts itself. This is a small shop with like 2 -3 tables max
When I was young I remember seeing travellers in my country for the first time and I wondered why on earth would they want to visit Malaysia, what more live in Malaysia. As I grew older and grew my own sense of appreciation for my beloved country and developed my own curiosity for the world, I now understand why. Café Marion is really a summary of that learning journey for me. Opened by a French chef married to her Malaysian husband, this quaint cafe serves sweet pastries which you can pair with a variety of drinks. Although their eclair was pretty average, their almond and cappuccino tarts made the trip to the cafe well worth it. It makes for a novel moment - sitting in the heat and breeze of Pantai Timur with a French dessert at hand. Probably something you wouldn’t forget. Just make sure to get some coffee as the desserts lean on the sweeter side. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 1–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I’ve put on list to visit whenever we stay in Cherating but never accomplished until this round, it’s completed. Not many pastries options during my visit, however I really loved their Ice latte, so tasty! All food was nice, acceptable…but foremost, I found the best so far, their homemade creme bruleè compared to another place I’ve tasted before. Overall, 4/5. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person RM 40–60 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Homemade Creme Brûlée
Tried the creme brulee. Initially it was sold out, but a fellow tourist came telling me she saw it available on Grabfood. It was 6pm Monday. Shop closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Tasted good and can feel that it was made with love and pride. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person RM 1–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
French Dessert Cafe. Awesome tasteful dessert. Just need to add on more on tables and chairs. And maybe the owner should add on various of drinks. Other is nice and good. Will repeat Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Salted Caramel Walnuts

Bought their best seller lemon meringue, creme brulee and chocolate eclair..the creme brulee is damn nice and chocolate eclair. It very sweet...lemon meringue too sour and don't pair with the sweetness.. If you're in the area, don't miss out this little French pastry gem. Super recommend the Lemon Meringue Tart and Almond Tart. The Lemon Meringue Tart was light and refreshing, nothing too sweet, perfectly lemony. The almonds on Almond Tart are beautifully toast. Simple and delicious. Really good desserts at affordable prices. They offer last night batch at a lower price too. If you're looking for desserts on a budget, the last night batch is a bargain. Still fresh and delicious, just a day older. Friendly owner, small stall, small space with very limited seating space. Just takeaway and enjoy the dessert by the beach (dispose your trash properly). Parking on road shoulder here sooo limited, same with their pastries lol. Everyday they made it fresh, so it will first come first serve basis, easy to out of stock. Better buy through Instagram link before come (only can buy when the shop is open, no early order) Pastry very good, bun is soft, tart is crunchy. We can taste the quality for each! But for the value given, still think that it's bit pricey. Perhaps they can increase the size bit bigger or adjust the price somehow. Limited seat there, so recommend to eat near beach which just 5 minutes walking. Feel the beach breeze while eating their pastries just fantastic! Recommended pastry shop if you come near Cherating! Great dessert, affordable price & clean cafe 👍 the cafe is small but you can spot it from far because of the signboard. It also walking distance from Royal Chulan Chalet. They sell coffee too. Must try cafe in Cherating! EDIT: their tarts, eclairs & creme brulee are way way better than some hipster cafe is KL. Worth to try, worth to queue and I definitely will come again. The prices are definitely fit the quality. The cafe open at 1pm, I went there during weekdays and no need to queue. You can order slowly, take your time, but don't come late, around 5pm ish most of the pastry already sold out :) Price per person RM 1–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
