Nice local place. Clean food is good and prices are very low because it caters to locals. No English or tourists in this area so be prepared with Google translate and you'll be fine. Very friendly staff and if you like cigars they have local blends for $1 per stick so you can't beat that 😉 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I paid 8$ for that. It's the biggest rip-off I've seen in Nicaragua so far.
A nice cafe related to the hostel of the same name across the street. They have a nice selection of non-typical dishes, that most tourists will enjoy. We enjoyed their food and at breakfast, lunch, and dinner her on separate days. It's a great place to go to work on your laptop while have some coffee or a drink. It can get packed in the evenings as it's a pretty popular place. They also offer reasonably priced tours that start from here.
Best People, great service, really good prices. A friend recommended us this place as we could pay by the night, we didn't know if we would stay there or not, we ended spending the whole week here for 30$ a night in a room that could fit all 3 of us. Down to earth people, a VERY honest and ethical Social Enterprise. Food is amazing. 3$ for the best breakfast in town. Safe, fun and very helpful if you want to need any directions or anything. You stick around at the bar long enough, sooner or later you will make friends with locals or other visitors and really enjoy the true Estelí vibe. I would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation.
We stopped here to get a cigar factory tour and that was really cool. Very personal and small group plus the guy seemed to know what he was talking about (according to our translator). If you bring cash you can buy straight from the factory. The food was okay. I ordered fajitas and they were like I expected for the states (real fajitas). We also got the nachos and lasagna, which were both pretty decent. As I mentioned earlier, you need cash to buy cigars direct and we had just run out, so we bought from the restaurant. BIG MISTAKE! They were really dry and fell apart when I tried to smoke them. Major bummer.

It has changed a bit since 2018, but it's a great international cafe/restaurant. They really need to get some fly traps though, I can't enjoy a breakfast without 5 other flies trying to enjoy it too! Perks are the vegetarian options, non-smoking section, laundry service, access to community events, & their support of local family farms.
My wife and I decided to split a hamburger plate he said they were big. Turns out it was about a 6oz patty on a small bun with just meat and bread nothing else on the burger. But we did get quite a lot of fries, but definitely over priced
Go to Cafe very often. Friends stop in and is a good location open more than others too. Bathroom could use,a little attention but most of the time it's ,sufficient.
I applaud the mission, but the coffee was really disappointing, easily the weakest and least tasty of my few weeks in Nicaragua. If you aren't a coffee person though, the place is probably okay...
