The was place was very nice, the staff were very kind and friendly. We order a fish tajine was very nice and fresh fish with reasonable price, knowingly I’m very picky when it comes to fish. I was fully shocked about most of the bad reviews written here, but our experience was totally the opposite. The cafe has nice vibes and can be reached from the beach walking from downtown. The Omelett was nice but the bread was very old and dry. The stuff and service wasn’t the best. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

The owner is a difficult person and does not display the menu. A large pot of tea with 3 Moroccan bread rolls (batpot) with olive oil cost us 90 dirhams? The café is more than simple, with old plastic chairs and small iron tables. It is interesting to see that there is no Hendrix music, or any other type of music, when we arrived the owner was there with his friend drinking alcohol. 🫣🤭 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

It's cool if Jimi Hendrix was really present here at some point. But I was charged 18dh for coffee and some cakes, which is unreasonable.

Generally nice place with its individual vibe. Food was fine, spicy enough, but not too much. Price and quality combination could have been little better, though, especially for fish tajine (taste was good, but visual appearance did not convince about freshness). The cafe has a great atmosphere and nicely decorated. We were on a geocaching hunting trip which brought us here. The owner was nice and friendly and we had a great chat. Lots of seating area around (all indoors). Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We were so thirsty and tired from travelling for hours to be disappointed with this mess. We ordered two coffees and they gave us two glasses of cold milk. The "coffee" came with a few stale biscuits that tasted horrible. The music was too overwhelming, loud and obnoxious. Plus they weren't even playing Jimmy Hendrix's music. My ears were melting like a volcano 🌋 after. It was so overpriced and it was terrible. Don't come here. Service Dine in Meal type Other

Jimi Hendrix was only in Essaouira for 11 days and there are no photos of his stay. Nonetheless a cottage industry has been created celebrating the musician’s non existent important ties to the place. This cafe is one such delusion. Not worth it and don’t get caught up in the myth.

Stopped in for a coffee and out of curiosity to see what a jimi hendrix cafe would be like. The coffee was more like milk and the owner overcharged us for the drinks. Having been in Morocco for a week we knew a reasonable price and were unimpressed but let it go. Not much in the way of interesting Jimi memorabilia either. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
