What a cozy little cafe to stay warm and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. They have old Himalayan hiking memorabilia to look at as well. We had the cinnamon bun and masala tea, both of which were excellent. The cinnamon bun was big enough to share and quite reasonably priced. You can also charge your electronics for free if you spend more than 400 rupees, so it's worth it to stop by ;) Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person Rs 1–500 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Excellent! Extraordinary Café!! I really enjoyed this place, during my stay in Dingboche, I made several visits here. The venue is nice and cozy. It is decorated with heaps of mountaineering tools and artifacts used in the area from many many years. It is literally like being in a mini Museum. It also offers a good selection of books dedicated to the Himalayas. The food is very good, I had coffee which it was made just how I like it, plenty of pastries and cakes. They also serve lunch and dinner. They offer complimentary charging which is a great plus at that remoteness. Wifi connection was very stable (In my case I used Everest link) The staff is brilliant, very nice people The vibe is great too, In my third visit, I went in the late afternoon, a big group of Israeli trekkers had a guitar and they started sing songs. After that another group (I think from Eastern Europe or so) borrowed the guitar and started singing altogether, I really liked it
A really cozy and wonderful place, where you can have delicious espresso, cakes and food. Visiting the place and speaking with the owners, around the stove, was one of the best memories in the trek we have made. I am really impressed by the place, people and the small museum they have made there. Next time i am in the area - i will go back in Cafe Himalaya, this is for sure. Highly recommend!

this place is owned by a multi generation sherpa family. They were very friendly! It is a great place to hang out while eating a baked treat. It was warm, they had nice music, great books to read, and old historical hiking artifacts.
Great little Cafe/Bakery. Cakes and snacks are made in house and fall apart in the mouth. Atmosphere is warm and friendly. Free museum inside. Can charge phones. Service Dine in Meal type Other
