This cafe is in the middle of souk haraj in tripoli old souks. The identity this cafe has is beautiful. It still has the old vibes. The lemonade this place serves is good. Other than that, just check the architecture and leave. The owner starts telling stories about himself and starts nagging to sell you some paintings as they are the originals but I doubt that. The painting is for 20 dollars so are 4 lemonades. The owner thinks this is a tourist attraction but he is not transparent with the customers. They never give you a menu and they suggest lemonade as the best thing this cafe is known for and when you ask for the check you will be surprised. If the owner wants to keep this place alive, he should stop forcing people into buying stuff and menus should be offered to customers directly as they sit down. If I considered having a tour with him in tripoli since he says that he is an official guide and the first guide in Lebanon, after everything happened, I would never consider that. A hidden gem in the souk of tripoli. The owner is very friendly and speaks english, and the place is so cute a mix of lebanese and syrian architecture, very pretty and authentic, it is famous for the lemonade which is tasty, a great stop within the souk and great for a nice pic

🚫 not a good spot, ⭐ total rip off ⭐, prices are exaggerated and not advertised. 2 juices ( orange and lemon) paid 700 mill, whereas a day before we paid 500 for a wine and a beer, and on the day we paid 140 for 2 cappuccino . Meal type Other Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

ATTENTION, never go there!!!! In Lebanese, they call him "NASAB": "SCAMMER" The guy will present him self as a trusted guide and then will insist on you to try his limonade. At the end you will be shocked by the sum you have to pay, and you will discover lately that you were scammed by the prices...... Limonade (5 $), even in best shops at Hamra and Batroun you pay 3$. Yet, his limonade is so bad and not even worth a 1 $ Coffee (2,5 $), everywhere else less than 1,5 $ Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Do not try it, owner is a thief, 40 usd!!! for 4 juices, 2 coffees, 2 bols of foul and 2 saj ordered outside... he is only after your money Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Beautiful location and tasty lemonade, but sadly it is extremely overpriced, we had to pay 4.5$ for the lemonade and 2.3$ for a small Turkish coffee. Meal type Other Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
I was overcharged: a lemonade cost 4$… which is too much for Lebanese prices Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Tourist trap; ridiculously unjustified high prices ; will never visit again
We paid 4$ per person for a lemonade
