This coffee shop is not just great coffee, it’s a great vibe. Not just Some of the Best coffee in Boyle heights, cafe girasol provides a an open space for community events to be held, and you can tell cafe girasols is first and foremost a supporter and member of their community. Very small town vibes in the middle of Los Angeles.
In fact, that’s what keeps me coming back. The community and the people and the store owners are all friendly and fun. There’s plenty of outlets to get work done and enjoy some great coffee and I highly recommend.
My biggest issue is the street parking, but that’s an LA issue in general. The vibes of cafe girasol and their little community coffee shop makes me understand why community is so important to a good cup of coffee.
I suggest the hot cafe de olla, especially during this rainy season.
