After looking at the reviews, I have decided to bike to this Cafe spot one early Friday morning.
The place opens early (5AM-3PM, 6AM-1PM in Sundays) for people to drop in and jump start their day with coffee, sandwiches, and pastries.
There were quite a number of patrons when I got in waiting for their orders as it was a one-lady army at that time.
Grabbed a ham and cheese croissant and a medium sized hazelnut latte. (PSA: Bring cash so that there won't be a service fee when you use your card)
The croissant was freshly made and was still warm when I got it. The ham and cheese inside were perfect. As is, the hazelnut coffee has enough sweetness and kick to wake me up.
The prices are almost the same as the other cafes in the area. Would definitely comeback to taste the donuts that has been given good reviews.
I stumbled upon this cozy donut shop on my way back from an appointment... I ordered a raspberry filled donut and a Mocha... I enjoyed both sitting in a corner and watching the small tv up on the wall. All the baked goods are available with an exhaustive list of coffees and teas. Owner is happy to have the company for small talk as she prepared the order and brought it to you.
Found this place while getting my car fixed across the street. This family run business has been around for 20 years and the sandwich I had was great! They use a toasted French baguette that is soft and crispy. Had an iced Vietnamese coffee as well. Their donut selection is great as well.
First time here arrived at 5:55am got a few donuts because they said they were behind and didn’t have anything else due to some issues, donuts were fresh and delicious. Only thing I didn’t like was the $1.75 extra charge to use my card. Take cash if possible, because an extra 2 dollars to pay is ridiculous.
The gentleman working the counter was so rude. He seemed bothered I didn't know that smoothies were after 7 am...and that a cream filled would be another 5 min... I didn't dare ask to wait. I asked for a maple bar but they only had twists... really not a big deal but my gosh when I asked for a chocolate bar the look I got and felt like if I didn't say oh I apologize, a chocolate twist fast enough I would be put on a list to where I was banned from buying donuts for life. I was to afraid to tell him that I asked for a donut with chocolate sprinkles and any one would be fine as long as had chocolate sprinkles....well I was afraid to tell Mr perfect that he gave me rainbow sprinkles... in his world, I'm sure I was somehow wrong.
Outstanding sandwich gem! Sandwiches are perfectly simple and fresh. The meatball in particular is a home run.
