Just like others said, the area is quiet and safe. Park along the side street right behind the owners car. Go inside and enjoy totally delicious bespoke eats and whimsical mocktails. Just now on Sunday afternoon from 5 until at least 7, four musicians including the owner and founder jammed delightfully out front as the rest of us sit back and enjoy. This is a cafe like no other and truly inspired. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Amazing coffee shop home roasted beans, great customer service and a cute cozy quiet place to read a book or enjoy the local artwork on the walls. Highly recommended this place is a gem!! Don’t let the location fool you the area is safe and there is street parking. If you love a bold, rich & strong cafe latte this is your place. A lovely little foodie experience right off the light rail (24th St and Washington). I drove this time, as I wanted to see what the walk would be like but looks very safe. I loved the coffee (had an Americano with Hazelnut milk) and their locally made empanadas, which come with some sort of tamarind based sauce and was quite delicious. They don't have Wi-Fi yet (historical building and they can't drill it to add internet cable) and only open during the week but if you are on a layover at PHX in the morning, or have a day off and live in Phoenix, worth checking out!
