The ambience of the cafe is nice, from the moment I entered the cafe. However, the excitement is gone when the service is slow as we waited for more than 30 minutes for our food to be served. The food served were nicely decorated, instagramable but the taste wise was not up to our expectations. Our appetizer was served later than our main dinner. However, they do serve a big portion of food and their rose bandung is perfect. I hope the service would be improved for betterment in near future as it will reflect the image of Chef Wan, which we dearly favour.

It was a pleasure to dine in at Cafe Chef Wan for the first time. We arrived at opening and were promptly seated. The food portions were great, and we were pleasantly surprised at how delicious the seafood cantonese kuey teow was. Our servers Danish and Ahmad were efficient in their service, and attentive to our needs. We are definitely looking forward to returning and trying some other menu items!

but for the local staff services was superb..the waiter..cashiers and especially the one on the front door..
but the 1st issues was saved by the food itself..great as always.

We had our office Friday lunch here and it was a great experience! Love the ambience and service was top notch. Great that we decided to try the recommended dishes like Mee Rebus, Laksa Johor, Nasi Kerabu and Cucur Bawang- all were so scrumptious. The portions were so big that it was meant for sharing. The interior was elegantly posh and the staffs were so jovial by having birthday board and played the birthday song for one of our colleague. I’ve tried the branches in Bangi and Melaka yet IOI Putrajaya has become my favourite! Will be back in near future. Thanks!

the food generally tastes okay, but nothing to shout home for especially as its located in such a big mall like IOI where you have plentiful dining options. the selection and price range is wide, so you'll definitely have something for everyone here. the only complaint i have regarding food is the german pizza is too salty, to the point where i couldnt even finish one slice.
what was a complete let down was the service. the staff at the entrance should definitely be trained better with more hospitality, considering this is a celebrity chef's establishment. was so arrogant at first since we came in without a reservation. if this is a reservation only joint, can simply inform us instead of the dismissive attitude. but it isnt, there were indeed vacant tables which we were then seated to. so im not sure why there was a need to treat us poorly, or even still require to write our details upon entry. this same staff then proceed to do a 180 flip and greet us with all smiles on the way out, after we have paid, which is so ironic. was she judging us on first impression? thinking we didnt have a reservation meaning we weren't serious about dining? beats me. but this particular staff definitely left a sour impression on us.

Was there w my Associates. A BIG letdown. Staff incompetent. Not able to suggest nor knwledge in their food. I am surprise that the culture and service level differs from other branches. Don't let down Chef Wan reputation if you cannot perform. The quality and final product as well as services need to be look through again.

Cik Ainu’s mee rebus is so good. My first time eating this dish and turned out to be our favorite dish for the evening.
The staff wasn’t so friendly and gave us a very uncomfortable vibe when we were there hence i asked my husband to do the requesting whenever I need something like sauce etc. He found my gesture was weird that evening but he didn’t pressed further.
But i wasn’t comfortable with the staff as i felt their hospitality is biased to some extent.
Maybe I’m wrong. You can try and experience yourself.
I been to the Bangi Hotel DeWan which was really really pleasant experience and no complain whatsoever.
This place, hmmmm. You try yourself and good luck
My recent lunch at Chef Wan in IOI Putrajaya was nothing short of a culinary delight. From the moment I entered, I was greeted by an elegant and cozy ambiance that set the stage for a memorable dining experience. The extensive menu options showcased Chef Wan's expertise in Malaysian cuisine.
I opted for one of the restaurant's signature dishes, and it was a gastronomic masterpiece. The flavors were a harmonious blend of traditional Malaysian spices and ingredients, creating a dish that was both rich and nuanced. The presentation was artistic, reflecting the restaurant's dedication to culinary excellence.
What truly impressed me was the attention to detail in every aspect of the meal. From the fresh, high-quality ingredients to the exquisite plating, it was evident that Chef Wan's team takes great pride in their craft. The portion size was substantial, ensuring I left the restaurant feeling both satisfied and content.
The service was impeccable, with knowledgeable and friendly staff who were eager to cater to my needs. Their recommendations and willingness to explain the menu added a personal touch to the dining experience.
Chef Wan at IOI Putrajaya is a destination for those seeking an authentic and delectable taste of Malaysian cuisine. Whether you're a connoisseur of Malaysian food or simply looking for an extraordinary dining experience, Chef Wan is a place that should not be missed. I look forward to returning to explore more of their culinary treasures.

- the food was on par not that good but not that tasty compared to de wan the linc. But definitely the taste as same as the cafe in kl east mall
- service is good and fast
- very polite waiter, i really pleased with the service
- portion is too big. You can lower a bit the price by reducing the portion as well
I HAVE ISSUE WITH THE CASHIER (female malay wearing tudung). Hear me out, the waiter did not educate us about the discount such off rm20 for feedback, off 20% usingcimb cc. Instead she tell us after i swipe my debit card. Is it soo hard to tell us before hand and educate us. What is the use of telling us after we make payment.
PLEASE MANAGEMENT EDUCATE YOUR STAFF. I HATE TO CALLED PEOPLE OUT FOR THIS BUT PLEASE EDUCATE YOUR STAFF
Rating Adjustment - Feedback on Food Quality
I had to lower my rating after dining at here last week. Unfortunately, the food quality has taken a hit. The Fettuccini Wild Mushroom & Truffle, which I usually love, tasted more like a basic Carbonara, lacking the distinct truffle flavor it used to have.
I'm not sure why there's been a drop in quality, but I sincerely hope the restaurant can go back to the excellent standard that I've come to expect. Here's to hoping for a return to the previous delightful dining experience.
