Cafe Anton in Swakopmund is a classic gem and I am glad to say they have kept to their reputation for high standards of quality. A standout feature of theirs is their impressive array of fresh cakes and pastries. During our visit we tried their apple strudel and schweineohre (pig's ears), which were delicious. If you have a sweet tooth, Cafe Anton is a must visit! Adding to this, their warm and friendly staff made us feel at home. The cafe is easy to find and located within walking distance of most of Swakopmund's tourist attractions, including the Lighthouse and beach. This makes it a perfect place to rest your feet and grab something to eat and drink. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely visit again when in Swakopmund.

Lemon Meringue Pie
Went here for a late breakfast on a Sunday. The breakfast buffet was 110NAD and included fried/scrambled eggs, a hot drink and the buffet. The service was excellent and everything was as expected. The buffet included a bunch of different type of bread, some salami, ham, butter, jam etc.
The attendant was so rude that I left even before asking for my coffee... So I went to Slowtwon coffee, right next corner, very friendly staff and great coffee, I recommend:)

Breakfast at Café Anton should form a quintessential part of your visit to Swakopmund. Excellent service, fairly priced and delicious food. The view is up to the weather, but all and all a wonderful experience!!! Would reccomend!!!

Really bad experience unfortunately. We wanted to have a small lunch. Ordered calamaris and toast Hawaii. Both were really not Tasty at all. Really disappointed. In my opinion the waiter was not very friendly at all. And she expected me to hand her the "finished" plates. Strange ??
The food is always good, the baked goods are delicious and nostalgic!
