I ordered the sweet potato vegan tacos and it came with almost no sauce. It was basically black beans, sweet potatoes and radishes on a tortilla. It was tasteless. I would suggest asking for extra crema on the side.

The roast chicken and the black beans here are delicious. My wife and I make special trips here just to enjoy both. I’ve had other dishes here — tacos and enchiladas — and they’re good as well but those two basics are a powerful draw. Also, I just love the Emeryville Public Market.

Great spot, would have given 5 stars but I ordered online pick up and when I got there realized door dash had marked up my meal by about 30%. That really took the enjoyment out of otherwise good food.
To the restaurant, I would recommend you work with other online pick up options that don’t rip off your customers. Several have little to no mark up, but DoorDash marked a $22 meal up to $29 which frankly sucks.
