Simply the highest quality drinks and service you could ask for. Best chai in town, exquisite spices and good coffee, and the family who runs it are just great people. This is a labor of love, a gem that's rare to find these days. I love to relax there and read in the cozy environment, comfy chairs and admire the artwork. Thanks, BYGood! Stopped in for a coffee early on Sunday morning. Service was exceptional and the shop is a cozy spot to escape the cold. The red velvet latte was the most delicious coffee I’ve had in a long time! Service Take out Meal type Breakfast Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I love this place! It was recommended by the group Winston Salem eats and they weren’t wrong when they mentioned Bygood coffe had the best coffee! The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere was so relaxing. I was struggling finding an open coffee shop on Sunday around the are and Bingo! I found my favorite spot now 🥳 Please stop by and enjoy a good cup of coffee and create memories that last forever! Bygood is literally my most go-to for coffee run in WS! They serve one of the most tastiest and creative drinks that I’ve never seen anywhere! The place is also dog-friendly and pup-cup is available as well! I tried their “Under the Mistletoe” Latte with gingerbread on the winter menu today. The drink tastes velvety and creamy yet I still taste the coffee roast, which is important to me! Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I always have the best experience grabbing morning coffee here! Coffee is excellent and lots of options - I suggest trying the barista specials. Staff is welcoming and the environment is perfect for solo or meeting a friend for coffee! Update: Still my favorite place for morning coffee in downtown Winston! Love all the amazing options, the service, and the laid back atmosphere. (PS if you're up for something new but good, try one of the seasonal/holiday coffees.) Great experience here on a slow Monday morning. The staff are on the quiet side which I certainly didn’t mind. What was clear is that the barista knows what they are doing. My friend and I both got drinks and they were both on point. We got ours to go so we don’t have any pictures of the foam art, but if the flavor is anything to go on I imagine the foam art would have been just as quality. The space in the shop is massive so there will be places to sit for your group if you decide to come here. If I were in the area for more than 2 days ByGood would get a second visit for sure. This is a lovely coffee shop. The staff was very welcoming and warm. I always enjoy seasonal selections and opted for a summer latte - delicious! They have an offering of take-home teas, coffee, apparel, and cups. The space is very cozy and spacious. It was relatively busy but I was able to find a table to do some school work. The art covering the walls gives the space charm. There is outdoor seating available as well. The parking was extremely convenient (& free!) which is a rarity downtown. I didn’t get a good look at their food offerings but the cinnamon muffin I had was large and delicious! Thanks for sharing your space - I can’t wait for my next visit! Family owned, good vibes all around. This is a gathering spot for the community. Great friendly service. Smooth strong roast. I worked remotely from this location and love people watching while zipping coffee ☕️. I saw job interviews, dates, friends catching up, and families reconnect during the two days I visited. The waffles, pastries and cakes looked delicious. I had a latte, a crossant and a smoothie. The coffee was better than the fruit drink. The smoothie wasnt as thick as I'd like it to be. Stopped by for coffee while we were in town staying across the street at the inn. Wonderful service and delicious coffee! I loved all the seasonal and flavored drinks they had. Highly recommend the Red Velvet. They had a nice smoothie menu as well. Case full of pastries too. Some seating out and plenty inside. I recently visited Winston-Salem while I was in town for the Junior Olympics. We woke up early in the morning, made breakfast, and headed to BYGood Coffee (Black owned). ByGood was such a cute shop! I loved it. It had seats to sit about 30 people inside, a cute outdoor patio, and free wifi. The staff was very friendly, diverse, and knowledgeable. I ordered the "Slay The Day" hot latte and it was delicious . My son ordered the sweetened Malibu tea and said it was delicious as well. I loved it so much that I returned a few days later for another one (still delicious) and my son ordered a a hot chocolate. He said he felt important at ByGood because the staff members talked to him instead of overlooking him to direct the conversation to me. He made a joke while we sat on the patio by saying all he needed now was a laptop and a work from home job (he's only in the 6th grade haha). I'd definitely visit again if I'm ever randomly in Winston-Salem. Thanks Bygood for the good time and great coffee. SN: Parking is free and available via an attached parking lot. The area appears to be clean and safe. There were several locals inside during both of my visits but the service was quick.
