I’ve been looking for my daughters cake for her 1st birthday because she has a food allergy, everybody uses the same ingredients in cake that she’s allergic to, I called the buttermilk bake shop and they made her cake with the exception that she has food allergies so grateful… the cake was beautiful and my daughter toke her first bite and loved it but I loved it more then her lol. Went in and asked about cakes, cupcakes, and donuts. My main question was storage and keeping the cakes for my upcoming trip. I was driving to Missouri to surprise my wife for our anniversary. The employees were AWESOME. They told me how to keep the items fresh. I got a Chocolate Ganache(sp?), a dozen cupcakes and donuts. Everything was delicious, my wife loved it all. The advice to freeze the cakes worked perfectly and everything tasted great when I got to MO. They even offered to write something on the cake for me! "Happy Anniversary"
I'll be stopping here for donuts in the future for my coworkers too.
The baked goods were excellent, and the customer service was A+. I won't go anywhere else for baked goodies during my time in VA.
I wish I knew the emoloyees' names to shout them out, but if they see this I'm sure they'll remember. Thank you!
