This is one of our two favorite restaurants in the area. The food is always delicious, the service is exceptional & they have an app that tracks points for future discounts. I recommend making reservations because they're always busy! Cocktails, steaks, upgraded appetizers, Burtons Grill & Bar is always a solid choice. A great bar and appetizers set the mood. And the firecracker shrimp were phenomenal. Popular restaurants always offer lots of variety in entrees, but the Maxx Burger and the Steak Frites stole the show. We finished with the crowd favorite Seven Layer Chocolate Cake, and my favorite the Key Lime Pie with wrap around crust. The service was incredible, the food was amazing and our time was just perfect! We went on Valentine's Day and the place was PACKED. our server made sure everything was perfect and we didn't feel rushed at all. I wanted to recognize the manager this evening. I recently had a baby so my family and I ordered food through door dash. We found upon arrival that we were missing one of the meals and the bread service. I called in and the manager delivered our missing items! I was truly surprised. Outstanding service. I had the short rib sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'll cut-to-chase. The rib meat was tender and full of flavor! A great sandwich start to finish. The parmesan cheese fries were quite tasty. I had eaten with a small group of friends here for one of our birthdays last month (7 of us) and had a terrible experience. Our drinks kept coming out wrong, we were given a glass of wine that was more than double the price of the one we asked for. We were informed they were out of short rib 25 minutes after we ordered. Then as our entrees were hitting the table, we were made aware they couldn’t make one of our guest’s entrees due to an issue with her allergy. Yes, thankfully they caught the issue, but I don’t understand how that wasn’t caught until the food was ready… And she was the one we were there to celebrate. She had to wait another 20 minutes for not only her meal, but also the drink she ordered. Four of us ordered steaks medium rare and they all came out well done and cold as well as the chicken on one of our salads. However, our server never came around until the end of the meal, so we couldn’t even bring it to her attention until then. Burtons was alway our choice for celebrations, but sadly we won’t be back after this all around horrible experience. I had tried emailing management, but never heard back. Very unfortunate.
