The Burke Family Restaurant is in the historic Ione Hotel. Very antique looking and very clean. The hand made bread and food was fantastic. I had a chicken pizza backed on handmade sourdough bread...tasted great. The prices are very low for the quality of the food and service. We've eaten there many times and we'll be back. This is an excellent restaurant. The food is fantastic, and the service is top-notch. Our waitress, Yusdivia, was polite, prompt, and professional. The sirloin steak was cooked perfectly, and my wife's chicken and salmon was a tasty treat. All in all, five stars is not enough. I was disappointed with the food. I haven't been here in years but maybe the chef changed? The risotto was overly salty, broccoli had nothing on them, the garlic herb chicken was bland but ok. The clam chowder was awful...globs of bread, not creamy, very little clam...I've gotten way better chowder from a can. The garlic bread tasted like they used old oil not butter... disappointing. We had a wonderful time celebrating my mom's birthday dinner here this evening. It was a warm cozy feel with a super cute and homie vibe. The food and appetizers were fantastic. Everything tasted homemade and the portion size was excellent and the cost was affordable. We will definitely be back and I will definitely refer people. Lastly, the service was great...
