About
The varied menu based on Chinese cuisine is what you are offered at this restaurant. Being at Buffet Fortuna, try nicely cooked fried crabs, fried prawns and fried chicken. Enjoy good ice cream, it's quite nice. Choose great lemonade, you will hardly regret it. This place is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. From the visitors' viewpoint, prices are moderate. You will definitely appreciate the charming atmosphere and homey decor. But this spot is not highly estimated by Google users who assigned it a below average rating.

The best buffet I've had in the area. Stopped in to take a break from traffic and was very pleased. Good options and fresh food. Fried chicken was good. Good vegetable options. Responsibly priced. I will most likely stop by anytime I'm passing by San Leandro. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Steamed Clams

The place is in the downtown area, the building looks old but it's clean and bright. Not too many choices, but the taste is good. They serves crab for dinner with price $22 with tax per person. The server is nice and come often to take the plates and brings drinks. Generally is ok. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20
Walking in, there was an odd smell emanating from somewhere. I was warned of this place by multiple friends and family members, but we tried it anyway. The food was pretty bland. The options were both limited and generic. Perhaps the most disappointing was the orange chicken or at least what they labeled as orange chicken. It was not chicken. Barely edible, I almost spat it out. When you walk in as well, there’s this annoying doorbell sound that kept going on and on. I passed on dessert when I overheard that the ice cream had hair. An argument occurred with a customer and one of the food service folks. It didn’t get bad but the workers pulled an “I don’t see it” routine. Overall, it’s not the worst restaurant I’ve been to but I would listen to all the negative reviews and just avoid this place in general. Grade: D- Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

A paradise of guilty pleasures, sweet and sour pork, fried drumsticks that are hot, crispy, and seasoned to perfection. Vegetables are there to balance the meal and noodles to satisfy. Not the place to take a first date but a cherished old friend who understands the value of a good satisfying meal. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Service is ok, food is low. There is not much choice. First and last time. Here. Worst buffet ever. $60 for 2 . It isn't even worth it. A dollar for each person. The food is old. The health department in Oakland should take a move and check what they are doing there. I don't recommend this place. It is an okay place. Lunch has less items than dinner. Dinner is more sea food. The waiters are very not professional. An incident happened between us (our table) and a waiter while we were leaving, she asked about tips when we already tipped her on the bill and she accused us of lying by saying "I think you forgot something, to tip." When we told her that we did she replied by "no you did not". We told the manager about her behavior. I will give it for lunch 3/10 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

We were pleasantly pleased when we met for lunch at Buffer Fortuna. Sushi, dim sum, a variety of Asian dishes and soups, fresh fruit, and dessert. Service was impressive. They refill your beverage and take your plates in a timely manner. The tables were clean and the room was bright. You can be sure that we will be returning! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Been a while after pandemic. It's good to be see this place back. Apparently when i came not really have a lot of seafoods options just fried shrimp and clams. Meat selection also not really a lot. But hope they will add more selection's. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30
Everything was perfect until we were leaving the Asian lady came to ask for tip. I give tips and work for tips as well but never ask I just thought that was not professional of them to let their employees harass customers for tips as they are leaving not a good look. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Well, food was disgusting. Lots of choices, but all dishes were distasteful, greasy , and insipid. Service was worse than the food. The bathrooms were dirty. And the ambiance was not inviting. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30
