About
The tasty flavours of Chinese and Japanese cuisines attract a lot of customers. Clients don't like fried prawns and tea at this restaurant. Buffet City is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. From the visitors' point of view, prices are good. It's always a good idea to experience something new and enjoy the cool atmosphere. But this place hasn't got a high rating from Google users.

The waitress was very rude. I ask her "May I have another glass of water?" She never said a word. She returned with the water and gently put the water down on the table. I said, "thank you" she never said a word. My husband & I went make another plate when we returned his silver ware was gone. He asked politely for more silver ware. She never said a word but, returned with a plastic fork instead of giving silver ware. He said thank you she never said a word. So this was a very uncomfortable situation. Well I began to feel a little sad because It was racial prejudice that occurred. Upon leaving my husband paid for our meal & left the waitress a tip. She didn't deserve a tip. An African American gentleman was there he was upset because he was mistreated as well. I've been at Buffet City many times the waitress was always well mannered & kind. The food was good. We always treat people the way we want to be treated. I am never rude to anyone. I am the most mild mannered person you will ever meet. I will be going back to Buffet City again & if any of the employees behave in an unkind manner I will complain. God is not pleased when others are unkind towards people. What goes around comes around. I don't believe in revenge God will handle it.
We wanted a Chinese buffet today and chose one close to where we were going to be shopping. It was myself, boyfriend, and special needs child who uses a wheelchair. Staff were friendly and seated us where we would have plenty of room to maneuver his chair. There were lots of options on the buffet including multiple proteins, seafood, sushi, fresh and canned fruits, a salad bar, and more. The hot and sour soup was excellent, as were the spicy crawfish, teriyaki chicken, fried shrimp, and more. My special needs child fell asleep and did not eat, even though we had fixed him a plate and attempted to feed him (he also uses a feeding tube at times). To our surprise at checkout, they waived his meal fee (he didn't get a drink as he isn't medically allowed). Staff were friendly, areas were clean. Where spillage or dropping of food items occurred, Staff quickly responded to clean the areas and wipe down floors to prevent bigger messes or falls. Kindness, courtesy, and cleanliness go along way in a good dining experience. And the food was varied so there was something for everyone. We all left satisfied with our experiences and would return next time we are in the area. Staff were very kind. Overall much cleaner space, much better food, and much better service when compared to other buffets in Tuscaloosa. The staff are nice and professional. My only complaints are that the lo mein tasted watery and the tea tasted rather old. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
I did a delivery through Uber eats and the food was amazing I loved it. Everything was perfect cooked well and tasted amazing my girlfriend loved it too. I will be ordering again for sure! Service Delivery Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This place used to be good now it's trash. My son and I went to eat and the food lately has not been fresh. The meat with sauce on it like the "sesame seed chicken" is never fresh lately. My son asked for a to-go cup of water (he's 8) the lady really didn't want to and you could tell. I look around the corner and she is giving my baby water out of a nasty looking bucket that's sitting in the sink. I politely left that cup right there and let her know I saw her. The health department definitely needs to be called for them. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

This is awful. Ate here 8 months ago and it was good . Idk what happened but no no . Honestly gonna call and make a report to health department cause food cold flies everywhere and just not worth any amount of money. Last night I went with my mom and everything was all good and dandy at first then it ALL slowly went downhill. The food was not fresh when we got there and most things were barely lukewarm. I asked the host at the front if they were going to be putting out more food and he told me to just let him know if there was anything I wanted that wasn’t out, that was probably the best treatment we got all night. Our waitress was pretty good about refilling our water but she was very rude at the end of the night. She basically all but helped us get our coats on to leave when the restaurant wasn’t supposed to close for another 40 minutes. We used to go here all the time but the management has changed several times and it is pretty horrible now. The food selection was very limited. We got there at 8 and they were already cleaning up and putting the fruit with the salad stuff. They had the cold shrimp sitting on top of the mussels which offended my mother greatly. There was fish but it didn’t have a name on it and we had NO IDEA what kind it was. Then the fried crab legs smelled like bleach or some kind of cleaning product. My mom tried to get the host to smell them and he wouldn’t. They supposedly closed at 10:30 but our waitress came over to our table at about 9:50 and basically told us that we needed to leave because they were cleaning up and we were like don’t you guys close at 10:30 and she said yeah but when we don’t have any customers we close at 10. Our point was that WE WERE CUSTOMERS and we were eating so why are you kicking us out and being rude. Then we tried to tell the guy up front when we were leaving and he barely answered us when we asked what time they closed. He ignored us when we tried to tell him about our waitress forcing us to leave. My favorite childhood restaurant is officially the worst place in town. If you even bothered to read all this my opinion is that you should NOT waste your money here. PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE. .
