Tucked away on Esplanade Avenue in the heart of New Orleans, Buffa's is a gem that's about as hidden as a brass band in a library. On Sundays, this place turns into a jazz buffet extravaganza that’s so good, it’ll make your taste buds do the second line. Imagine a spread where the jazz is as smooth as the gravy on your biscuits and the mimosas flow like the mighty Mississippi. The atmosphere? It's like if your cool uncle's living room had a baby with a speakeasy, and they decided to throw a perpetual Mardi Gras party. The food lineup is a culinary jam session where classic brunch dishes hit all the right notes and then some. From eggs Benny that’s more balanced than a tightrope walker over Bourbon Street, to shrimp and grits that sing louder than a Bourbon Street busker, it’s a feast that even Louis Armstrong would tip his hat to. And let’s not forget the jazz – oh, the jazz! It’s live, it’s lively, and it’s the kind of toe-tapping, soul-soothing sound that could make a statue swing dance. So, if you’re looking to spice up your Sunday with a side of saxophone, Buffa’s is your ticket to a brunch that’s more New Orleans than a pothole on Frenchmen Street. Don’t walk, jazz shuffle your way to Buffa’s for a Sunday Funday that’s truly off the charts! Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great burgers! The restaurant was full so we snagged a table outside. It was self-serve so we ordered inside the bar and they delivered the food to us. Great crowd and a fun place. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Fries

The food was very delicious and hot when we got it. The service we were receiving on the bar side was awful along with the music so loud you couldn't hear anything when someone spoke. I think the woman who was behind the bar was having a bad night but she was awfully rude which made the atmosphere on that side of the establishment hostile. I ended up switching to the other side of the restaurant to hear the live music and paying a cover while I waited almost two hours for my food to come out with little service still being provided on the music side of the restaurant. However, the atmosphere was much more friendly. I ended up grabbing things I needed from the restaurant because the employees weren't really able to help. Its okay, I think it was an off night. If you want to wait long for service but have good food go here. Honestly there are other establishments in the area that have the same, if not better food with kinder service. Buffa's is the only place I've ever encountered where you can order science fiction name inspired sandwiches with NOLA pizazz. They have amazing mixed drinks and a selection of cannabinoid inspired concoctions as well. The redfish rocks and the alligator balls are amazingly tasty. Had a strawberry mojito that was very nice and a red fish poboy & fries that was super tasty. I hear the burgers & redfish plates are terrific and I'll have to try the Ruben to see if it can substitute for NYC and let you know if they can earn that 5th 🌟 for the food. <Had the burger - Boon was on point 👉 5 outta 5 🌟 > Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes The Buffa Burger

This unassuming dive bar has, in my opinion an incredible red beans and rice. They have live music and a few casino machines to play. Def a late night eats bar with a good crowd to watch. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
