My son chose Buddy's one day for lunch. I had ate there two other times and wasn't impressed. This was the 3rd time I had their brisket... unfortunately I still do not like it. However the pulled pork made up for it. I got green beans and mac n cheese for sides....awesome! Hush puppies Camden with it as well. Probably the best ones I've ever had as they weren't greasy. What I can tell you as well is their wings are probably some of the best around....never had a problem with those. I think the food has improved considerably. Yes I will go back but not for brisket. Also....try their deserts! I got something with a a brownie...a sundae and it was really nice! If you like bowls...they have those as well! Ordered the BBQ con burger( half pound burger with pulled pork, BBQ sauce,and a onion ring) told them I wanted my burger well done, it was pink all the way through when I finally got it 30 minute's later,had to tell our waitress to replace my order,,, so after another almost 30 minutes I get my order, which this time it was actually cooked right..they yold us they discounted our bill, they took $3 off a $40 order... Tried this place for the first time, its been here for years. The service was amazing, our waiter was Misty. It was family get together and most of my family got quesadillas and they turned out great. My burger was great, the patty was made perfect. The barbeque was kinda sweet and my onion rings weren't crunchy enough but still great. I definitely do recommend this place I'll be back to try their quesadilla next time. Called to inquire about ordering food for Super Bowl. Their online menu looks like it had decent prices. When I called to place an order and when I confirmed the prices, I was told that it was an outdated and old menu. Prices on some things were almost double. I asked if they could honor the prices that they posted and was told no. I did not want anything for free just what was posted as their prices. Their prices was the only reason I called. Feel like this is false advertising or bait and switch. The manager called the owner and the manager said the owner said that the prices are what they are. The manager also said the owner said prices are subject to change, and this was on the menu. But this is not on the menu listed anywhere, the one posted online. I mentioned how they are not being accountable for what they had posted and they did not care. Poor customer service, and a little taken aback how they are not accountable and do not want to be accountable.

I had nearly given up on finding good local BBQ when I was referred to buddy's. We decided to give it a try and oh my goodness I'm so glad we did. Every item we ordered was great and on point. The service was awesome and very accommodating. Over all I give Buddy's a A+. We will be returning on a regular basis to enjoy the amazing menu items. Boyfriend and I decided to stop here while visiting Huntington to scope out Marshall University and BOY HOWDY. This food alone makes me want to go to grad school here. The ribs were to DIE for, meat nearly falling off the bone and everything. They had the perfect amount of sauce and the flavor was *chef's kiss* (pardon the piece of meat missing in the picture, I could. Not. Wait.). The Mac n cheese was perfect, and so were the baked beans. He got the pulled pork and smoked sausage, both of which were cooked and sauced to perfection. The garlic bread was crispy and buttery but not overly greasy. The onion rings had thicccc slices of onion and were super crispy but not dry. We ordered to-go and it was ready in 10 minutes. Staff was friendly and super speedy. 10/10!!

I had wings with green beans and my husband had ribs with potato salad and a side of beans. The wings were great the green beans and potato salad was very bland. Wow this place!!! Every single item was awesome! Seriously! I got the homemade cracklins for my filipina wife. They love that stuff. My mother did too. I normally hate them. The store bought ones. Wow these were amazing!! A little hot spicy tho. I got the two meat for me and the wife. All the meat we had was wonderful. Brisket, pulled pork, supposed to be half chicken but was a quarter, and the chicken wings. Love the mango habanero sauce it's our favorite wing sauce we have had elsewhere too. Mac n cheese was delish! Wish they offered 10 hush puppies Bec it's too expensive just for the 5 pc appetizer. But some come with the meal.... Omg so good!!! Also got the potatoes skins w pulled pork. They were awesome! The BBQ sauce was amazing too! Perfect! Only reason I have 4 stars for service was the bar tender where I Sat to eat she had no idea about the beers Bec she's "not a beer drinker". So she can't answer anything about the hops or taste of the beer. To me that's absolutely silly to have someone bar tending like that. Basically clueless. But she was very polite and attentive. Hard working. So for that I can forgive her.... LoL both ladies in reacted with were very nice. When I asked about the chicharones as they call them in the Philippines or cracklins here. She was enthusiastic about them and sold me on getting them. I wanted to experience fresh hand dipped ones. Overall the food was th BEST BBQ I've ever had. Never have had every time hit a 5/5!
