Not only should El Corte De Madera be visited, but also Buck's. This restaurant offers good cheddar sandwiches, stuffed artichokes and stuffed crab. Tasty ice cream sundaes, blueberry pancakes and French toasts have a good taste. Wine is delicious, try it. Most likely, you'll return to Buck's later to degust great milkshakes, americano or ice tea. The homely atmosphere makes this place a perfect choice for a family dinner. A number of visitors find the staff cool. This spot is remarkable for its prompt service. According to the reviewers' opinions, prices are reasonable. The homey decor can surprise you. 4.4 is what this restaurant received from the Google rating system.

I had a recent trip to the Bay Area, and my girlfriend (a local to the area) told me I absolutely had to go to Buck’s. The eclectic decor, friendly and fun staff, and delicious food are something you don’t want to miss. There’s a good variety of cuisine options, so there is bound to be something you’ll like. Don’t miss the desserts either. I had the bread pudding, but I’ve also been told all their desserts are good. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
This restaurant was pleasant surprise! It’s a restaurant cum museum! They have displayed many interesting and historical things in the restaurant. Ambiance is very pleasant. Food is good too. I would love to visit the place again. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This place is so cute. I was able to make reservations for brunch with friends, medium sized group, and each of us ordered a different dish. Everything was amazing. We also appreciated the servers and their multiple coffee refills as we took our time catching up with each other. A comfortable, friendly, delicious dining experience. Definitely will come again! Buck’s is the best place to go for a laid back meal with family and old friends! I love that it hasn’t changed in decades, perhaps the menus has changed because it is pretty good, but the quirky decor is still there! My fav is the Sci-fi movie Silent Running “album cover?” but for all ages and Silicon Valley history buffs & movie buffs, you’ll love the memorabilia that’s hanging on walls and ceiling. I enjoyed the Chinese Cabbage salad (the lady at the next booth told me to get that vs the Fish Tacos, so a thank you shout out to her!) and my husband enjoyed his burger and said the fries were excellent. Wait staff are all polite and friendly. It’s like coming home. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Chinese Chicken Salad

The perfect post hike brunch spot. They’ve been in business for this long because they just know how to serve a good meal. I like the veggie omelette with the granola and yogurt. We do pancakes after every hike so it’s in the meal too. Parking is a bit tough, but if you don’t mind a little walk there are spots at this Woodside crossroad. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
